The integrative approach and philosophy of the university along with the opportunity my degree affords me to become a Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS) and differentiate myself in my field.
The ability to impact the health of individuals and the population at large through the art and science of integrative nutrition. Also, the variety of opportunities where I can apply these skills and knowledge I've amassed through my program.
I'm a bit of a science geek so I've loved the in-depth courses in physiology, nutritional biochemistry, pathophysiolgy, and advanced lab assessment - all of which provided knowledge and a solid scientific foundation that I can practically apply in my future work with clients.
The faculty is terrific and displays not only a true passion for the content they deliver, but also a genuine interest in the success, career paths, and lives of their students.

I enjoy a patchwork career, with diversity in the endeavors and opportunities I pursue. I plan to use what I've learned to pursue opportunities in teaching, clinical work in nutritional consultation at an integrated wellness center, and potentially program development within large organizations.
