Empowering community to participate in in all stages of development; 4. Building urban infrastructures and facilities to guarantee convinience and environmental sustainability; 5. Strategic Plans for Multiculturalism (1) 1. Preserving Betawi’s culture in the context of Jakarta as Capital City of Indonesia which is multicultural. 2. Facilitating acculturation process between local/Indonesian cultures and foreign cultures.
3. Developing world-class cultural center in “Taman Ismail Marzuki.” 4. Revitalizing heritage area/buildings of Old Town (Kota Tua) as economic creative area; 5. Developing Betawi cultural area (Kampung Budaya Betawi); 6. Developing “Taman Mini Indonesia Indah” (Miniature of Indonesia Park) as part of Jakarta’s cultural development effort.
