Mission

Jakarta as a convinient and prosperous city for ALL. 1. Implementing good governance; 2. Serving people with service excellence; 3. Empowering community to participate in in all stages of development; 4. Building urban infrastructures and facilities to guarantee convinience and environmental sustainability; 5. Creating dinamic urban living for growth and prosperity.

Strategic Plans for Multiculturalism (1) 1. Preserving Betawi’s culture in the context of Jakarta as Capital City of Indonesia which is multicultural. 2. Facilitating acculturation process between local/Indonesian cultures and foreign cultures.

3. Developing world-class cultural center in “Taman Ismail Marzuki.” 4. Revitalizing heritage area/buildings of Old Town (Kota Tua) as economic creative area; 5. Developing Betawi cultural area (Kampung Budaya Betawi); 6. Developing “Taman Mini Indonesia Indah” (Miniature of Indonesia Park) as part of Jakarta’s cultural development effort.
