2015 Homestead Benefit Applications Mercer County Legal Services Project for the Elderly: (609) The office provides legal services in areas of bankruptcies, fraud, Wills, Power of Attorney, Advance Directives.

New Jersey home owners soon will receive their 2015 Homestead Benefit application packets. The Division of Taxation will begin mailing the packets on or about September 16, 2017. Deadline for filing a Homestead application is Thursday, November 30, 2017. Residents should not confuse the Homestead Benefit with the Senior Freeze. They are separate programs with different eligibility requirements, applications and filling sched-

For information residents can call (609) 259-3600 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Sewer bills are going out and due October 1, 2017. Last day to file for the 2016 PTR is October 18, 2017. If you need a form call 1-800-882-6597.

HOMESTEAD BENEFIT (FOR HOMEOWNERS)

If there are any questions call the Hotline (1-888 -238-1233 .) 8:30am-5:30 pm. Monday through Friday no Holidays. This is a State Program and not run by the local Tax office. SENIOR TAX FREEZE (PTR) FORMS The Tax Collector will not have the forms available for residents in the Tax Office. PTR forms dropped off at the Tax Collectors office, will be ready on Friday of that week. Forms dropped off on Friday will be ready the following Friday. Please provide a SASE and it will be mailed back to you when complete. P ROJECT MEDICINE DROP EXPANDS OUTREACH AT THE ROBBINSVILLE SENIOR CENTER MONTHLY The RPD in conjunction with the R*MAPSA has installed a Project Medicine Drop Box at the Police headquarters, located at 1117 US Route 130. Residents may drop off any unused or excess medications anonymously-24

hours a day seven days a week. The drop box also protects New Jersey environment by keeping these drugs out of landfills and water supply.

Robbinsville Township utilizes the county-based TRADE transportation system to transport senior residents who are unable to drive to the Senior Center for nutrition and activities. Advance Reservations are Required!
