Simon Johnson, Executive Director, EMEA, Aon Risk Solutions' Environmental Practice Simon has an engineering background encompassing, civil, mining, oil and gas and environmental specialising in and providing guidance on brownfield developments. Simon entered the world of environmental insurance some 20 years ago as a founding Director of Certain writing brownfield and contaminated land insurance. Since 2008 as head of environment for EMEA at Aon working in their Global Broking Centre Simon advises clients on their environmental risks and exposures and on gaps in traditional insurance programmes placing environment insurance across a wide range of clients and circumstances from single sites through mergers and acquisitions and multinational programme structures and management.
