DRESS CODE POLICY (from PDGA Competition Manual Section 3.4) All players in PDGA sanctioned competition and tournament staff are expected to dress appropriately and to maintain a clean and well–groomed appearance at all event sites and associated functions. All competitors and staff are required to wear shoes or other foot coverings. Players will not be allowed to play in bare feet. Sandals or slides are allowed. All players must wear a shirt covering their upper chest area. A well–tailored shirt with a collar and sleeves covering upper arm shall be considered acceptable. Tank tops are not allowed for any competitor, but women may wear sleeveless shirts with collars. Crew neck or v–neck shirts made of high–performance or high–tech materials, such as Dry–Fit, Cool–Max, and others will be allowed. Women may also wear well tailored one–piece tennis dresses with minimum 1 inch wide shoulder straps. Shirts that hang down lower than the bottom hemline on the player’s shorts shall be tucked in. No ripped shirts, shorts, or pants will be allowed on the course. This includes unhemmed, torn or cut “vents” at the shirt collar. No offensive, profane, or obscene slogans or logos shall be allowed on any clothing. This dress code will be in effect from start to finish at each event, including all tournament rounds. Players who do not make a cut, but wish to remain on site through the duration of the tournament, will be considered spectators and will not be required to conform to the Tour’s dress code.

TOBACCO POLICY AT PDGA MAJORS On June 11, 2013 the PDGA Board of Directors voted to indefinitely extend the Tobacco Policy at all PDGA Majors. The use of tobacco products by players (and by extension their daddies) is prohibited at all PDGA Majors from the two–minute warning until their scorecard is turned in. This prohibition includes all smoking and chewing tobacco products as well as electronic and vapor cigarettes. Should the Tournament Director of a PDGA Major decide to provide special areas out of the public eye designated for smoking, then players may use those areas during the round, but all rules concerning the pace of play still apply. (Competition Manual 3.2) Open and visual possession of any product banned under the smoking policy will be treated as a courtesy violation, and violators will be asked to put away the product until after the cards are turned in. Subsequent violations will be handled per PDGA Rules 801.01.F and 801.04.G with penalty throws assessed and repeated violations may result in disqualification in accordance with Competition Manual Section 3.3 – Player Misconduct.
