Sales and marketing department managers plan, direct and coordinate the sales and marketing activities of the enterprise or organisation, under the broad guidance of the directors and chief executives, and in consultation with managers of other departments or sections.

(a) planning, directing and coordinating the sales and marketing activities of the enterprise or organisation; (b) planning and organising special sales and marketing programmes based on sales records and market assessments;
