2016

Caminando, el Cuaderno de tus Mundos LOM Ediciones, Editorial Aún Creemos en los Sueños, with Le Monde Diplomatique (Chile), Santiago, Chile. An entertaining book that is not only to read, but to see, to be drawn, to be colored, to be experienced; therefore, is to be lived. This is an invitation to cross and «live» through seventeen doors proposed by Federica Matta.

2015 El Viaje de los Imaginarios en 31 días With a preface by Luis Sepúlveda & Victor Hugo de La Fuente, Editorial Aún Creemos en los Sueños, Le Monde Diplomatique (Chile), Santiago, Chile. Addressed to children and adults, this book invites us to enjoy the unlimited freedom of imagination during a poetic journey that will last as long as our imagination remains.

2006 Sur les Pas de Rûmi Nahal Tajahdod, illustrated by Federica Matta, preface by Jean-Claude Carrière, Editions Albin-Michel, Paris, France. Inside Masnavi, major work of the greats mystic Rûmi, Nahal Tajadod chose thirty seven narratives, which she adapted and revisited. They are allegorical, surprising, rather often enigmatic. They lump together the farts of a donkey and the highest mystic speculation, the resolution of the opposites, the necessity of the absurd. To present us this stories, Nahal Tajadod invented a likely character, a bookbinder of Neyshabour, important city of Khorassan, province of the northeast of Iran...

2004 Tu Vois ce que je Veux Dire ? Editions Le Seuil, Maison de l’Amérique Latine, Paris, France. Book-game which includes a memory game, a card game, snake & ladders, masks to cut, color and wear, ...

2003 Les Enfants du Soleil With Scott Momaday, Editions Le Seuil, Paris, France. The Children of the Sun, theatrical work written originally for children, tells a sacred story -the story of the sacred -, which pulls his source from a former Kiowa epic narrative. The scene takes place outside of time, in a simple and colored scenery, the domain of Grandmother Spider. In front of gathered children, the elder sings, asks, tells, mimes the story of Aila, a girl who brought the color to the world, married the Sun, and gave him a son before dying. The story of this child who became twins, the children of the Sun, also called «Talyi-Dai», «the medicine-boy».

Rire, guérir, des clowns qui guérissent Avec Catherine Dolto, Editions Seguier-Archimbaud, Paris, France. Laughing feels good, laughing together, it is still better, but the clowns bring much more than the laughter. That is why they are precious and that is why their burst in the hospital world is therapeutic. When we are seriously sick, we are in danger to become a clinical case, a file, and we are, there body and soul, forming a whole lot full of memories, sorrows, joy, fears and hopes. The clowns, by entering the hospital, bring to the patients the right to laugh, but also to hope senselessly. The clowns support the right to laugh at the pain and at the fear, the right to dare to dream, even when the situation is serious.

2001 Los Viajes de la Sirena With Carmen Waugh, Matta, Jean-Claude Carrière, René de Ceccatty, Paul Haïm, Joan Simon, Catherine Dolto, Michel Cassé. Spanish version: translations by Cécile Yess, Editions Atlantica, Biarritz, France. Exhibition catalog... (Spanish version).

2000 Les Voyages de la Sirène With Jean-Claude Carrière, René de Ceccatty, Paul Haïm, Joan Simon, Catherine Dolto, Michel Cassé, Editions Atlantica, Biarritz, France. Exhibition catalog of a plastic artist whose artistic universe is made of fantastic fireworks coming from her imagination and feelings. His bestiary, her paintings, her big sculptures fill with life the public places of Santiago, Lisbon, Saint-Nazaire... An art which is inspired by Latin American baroque art.
