In Siena the architecture soars, and could well lift your soul. Effectively a giant, open-air museum to the Gothic, its spiritual and secular medieval monuments still sit in harmony, many filled with collections of Sienese art. Add vibrant streets where every third door (literally) opens into a restaurant, enoteca or deli, and you’re in for a very fine time indeed. Because this is Italy before the Renaissance, magically transported to the modern day.

Endorsements and Patronages

Description of the course and educational objectives Ultrasonography (US) became a very important tool for the diagnosis of the musculoskeletal diseases as it is used all around the world to assist the clinicians in their clinical practice. The increasing interest on US is also proven by the growing number of studies, focused on several aspects of US: explore new abilities, define the reliability of the technique, assess the diagnostic accuracy, evaluate the implementation of US in diagnostic criteria. Considering the rapidly growing body of evidence in this field, the aim of this conference is to provide cutting edge evidence and state of the art knowledge of the clinical applications of US in Rheumatology. Major experts in the field coming from European countries will carry out this task. The conference is addressed not only to rheumatologists-sonographers that want to keep in touch with the latest evolutions in the field but also to colleagues that do not perform US by themselves but wish to broaden their knowledge on US in Rheumatology and optimize the use of imaging in their clinical practice. Further, networking and collaborative projects will be encouraged during the conference.
