Last season The Rock took both meetings against Lock Haven. The first meeting was a 79-69 win at Lock Haven. Haley Gaidosh scored 21 points and Sasha Sales recorded a double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds. In the second meeting, The Rock used the home-court advantage to take a 101-72 win. Amanda Nero scored 38 points, tying a school record for made three-pointers in the process with nine. Four Rock players scored in double figures during that game. Slippery Rock averages 61.4 points per game. Julie Molloy leads the way averaging 12.1 points per game and 25 steals. Nikki Presto averages 10.7 points per game and leads the team in rebounds (5.6 per game) and assists (60). Amanda Mikatavge leads the team in blocks (15) and Bethany Caudill averages 7.8 points per game in 25.9 minutes per game. Tynesha Lee has recorded 10 blocks this season, and Grace Palucis is shooting 86.7% from the foul line. Head coach Laurel Heilman is five wins away from the all-time record at SRU. Coach Heilman currently holds a 107-142 record in her tenth season at her Alma Mater. In the first meeting against Lock Haven last season, Coach Heilman recorded her 100th win at her Alma Mater. Nikki Presto is the only Rock player to record a double-double this season. Presto recorded her first against Lake Erie on 11/21/09 recording 17 points and 12 rebounds, and second against Mercyhurst on 1/13/10 with 16 points and 11 rebounds. Presto is the only Rock player to record double-digit rebounds this season. Presto is also the only player to start in every game for The Rock this season. There are five freshman who have seen significant playing time this season. Four of which have played in every game. Bethany Caudill averages the most minutes (25.5 mpg) and starts (10). The Rock started the PSAC season 0-3 for the first time since the 199697 season when SRU went 1-11 in Western Division play, with their sole win coming against Lock Haven in the final game of the season, 6160.



Lock Haven averages 63.7 points per game, and allows 63 points per game from their opponents. Kristen Kudrick leads the team with 11 points per game, 6.3 rebounds and 11 blocks. Casi Donelan leads the team in assists (51) and averages 10.9 points per game. Sharay Hall also averages 6.3 rebounds and leads the team in steals (21).



Like The Rock, Lock Haven is still looking for their first win in PSACWest play. Their last confernece win came at Slippery Rock in the 2007-08 season, 62-59.



Lock Haven has lost their last five games, with their last win coming against East Stroudsburg, 73-43 on 1/9/10.



Freshman Kacie Hershey is the current PSAC-West Freshman of the week. It is her second honor this season. She averaged 12.5 points and 5.5 rebounds last week. She scored 17 points against Indiana,



Kristen Kudrick and Casi Donelan have been equals this season, with Kudrick scoring just two more total points this season than Donelanscoring 165 and 163 points respectivly this season.



Sharay Hall has led Lock Haven in rebounding eight times this season. The most recent coming at California with eight.



Hall is also the only Lock Haven player with double-digit rebounds, with 10 against East Stroudsburg on 1/9/10.



Casi Donelan scored 24 points against Edinboro. The 24 points is the highest point total from one player of this seasons Bald Eagle squad.

Upcoming Events Kory Fielitz Rorabaugh will be honored as part of The Rock’s Feb. 20 women’s basketball game in Morrow Field House against Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference-Western Division rival Clarion University. She will be honored during halftime of the RockClarion game, which is set to tipoff at 1 p.m., as well as during a postgame reception in the Russell Wright Alumni and Conference Center. Rorabaugh is the all-time leading rebounder in Rock women’s basketball history with 961 and is the No. 2 scorer in program history with 1,694 points in her four-year collegiate career (1990-94). She ranks fourth in career rebounds per game at 9.2 and ninth in career points per game at 11.9 and holds the school record for field goals made (702) and field goals attempted (1415). Her 49% career field goal efficiency is the fourth best. Rorabaugh also ranked third in career free throws made (289), fourth in career free throw attempts (371) and sixth in career free throw percentage (77.9 ). A 2004 inductee into the SRU Athletic Hall of Fame, she led The Rock in rebounding all four seasons of her collegiate career, highlighted by a career-best 10.7 per game average as a senior. She was also the Green and White’s top scorer in both her junior and senior seasons. She averaged 18.5 points per game in her junior season (1992-93) and 16.4 ppg in her final campaign.

Jodi Gault and Jan Kasnevich will be honored during The Rock’s Jan, 30 home game vs. Indiana University of Pa. Gault played for The Rock from 1976-78 and concluded her career with 978 points. A 1979 Rock graduate, she was inducted into the SRU Athletic Hall of Fame in 1989. Gault compiled a 540-146 record in 25 seasons (1983-2007) as head women’s basketball coach at the University of Pittsburgh-Johnstown. Her .776 winning percentage is the sixth highest recorded by an NCAA Division II women’s head coach, while her career win total is the 10th highest in Division II history. Kasnevich was a four-sport athlete at The Rock as a member of the basketball, field hockey, volleyball and tennis teams as an undergraduate. Following graduation, she was named to the U.S. Field Hockey team. Kasnevich also served as The Rock’s head coach in both field hockey and softball as well a women’s basketball assistant coach. Her 1987 Rock field hockey team advanced to the NCAA tournament, while three of her Rock softball teams earned AIAW national tournament berths. A 1968 Rock graduate, Kasnevich was inducted into the SRU Athletic Hall of Fame in 1988.
