Wednesday, June 10: All Kinders attend for Field Trip; Grades 1-6 attend 8:30 a.m. until 1:10 p.m. Early Release Thursday, June 11: 6th Grade Promotion, begins at 10 a.m., outside near Library. Thursday, June 11: Last Day of School. All Kinders attend 8-11:20 a.m.; Grades 1-6 attend 8:30 a.m. until 1:10 p.m. Early Release. Report Cards go home with students. Have a Great Summer Best of luck to our 6th Graders as they move on to 7th Grade!
They’ve hatched and flown the coop! Many thanks to Mrs. Taylor and the Room 4 Scholars for raising this year’s crop of baby chicks. All of our students loved their time with the fluffy, rapidly growing chickens. Oliveira is extremely grateful for the Munoz family who funded and built a portable brooder for the chicks; Mr. Willie and Mr. Scott for the donation of the metal pan for the bottom of the brooder; and Samuel and Gabby for using their math and building skills to calculate the needed lumber, then saw, cut, hammer, glue, drill, and complete the brooder.
