Robert B. Tucker: "Thinking Ahead of the Curve" Robert B. Tucker is President and founder of The Innovation Resource, and one of the world’s foremost innovation speakers. Formerly on the faculty of the University of California, Los Angeles, Tucker has been a consultant and keynote speaker for 25 years. His pioneering research in interviewing over 50 leading innovators was published in the book Winning the Innovation Game in 1986. Since then, he has continued to publish widely on the subject, including his international bestseller Managing the Future: 10 Driving Forces of Change, which has been translated into 13 languages. In Driving Growth Through Innovation he identified the emerging best practices of 23 innovation companies. In his latest work, Innovation Is Everybody’s Business, he interviewed 43 innovation-adept individuals from multiple industries and all levels of organizations, and teaches the personal skills necessary to become an innovator in this hyper-competitive world. Robert is a frequent contributor to publications such as the Journal of Business Strategy, Strategy & Leadership, and The Futurist. He has appeared on PBS, CBS News, and was a featured guest on the CNBC series The Business of Innovation.

Philippe Latapie is Partner and Managing Director of StratX Boston. At StratX, he helps major corporations drive top line growth by building strong cultures of customer focus and innovation excellence. Philippe has gained extensive consulting experience in the healthcare, B-to-B, high-technology, and consumer goods sectors, including work with GE, Pfizer, P&G, J&J, Boeing, PepsiCo, and Samsung. He was an early adopter of Blue Ocean theory and became one of the first Blue Ocean certified practitioners. Prior to joining StratX, Philippe worked as engagement manager and senior consultant with Roland Berger and Gemini Consulting in the U.S. and in Europe. He also worked with the Commercial Department of the French Consulate, where he led initiatives designed to expand bilateral trade between Germany and France in the electronics and electrical industries. Philippe is a regular speaker at senior management events and has coached several thousand executives and managers around the world. His assignments have landed him in more than 30 countries, five of which he has lived in. In addition to his senior role at StratX, Philippe is also Board Member at the French American Chamber of Commerce of New England.

Kriss Deiglmeier: "Strategic Turnarounds: Uniting the Classic and the Cutting Edge" Kriss Deiglmeier is CEO of Tides, a values-based, social change platform that leverages individual and institutional leadership and investment to positively impact local and global communities. Since its inception, Tides has managed project and grantmaking activities in excess of $2 billion. At Tides, Kriss has top-level responsibility for managing a grant portfolio with over 20% of its funding contributed internationally, supporting the creation of key donor collaborations committed to modern ideals and causes, and providing a one-stop shop for donors, activists, and organizations in the social justice movement. Kriss is a recognized pioneer in the social innovation field and most recently was the founding Executive Director for the Center for Social Innovation (CSI) at Stanford University, Palo Alto, where she established CSI as a global leader in the emerging social innovation field. She has presented nationally and internationally on social innovation, corporate social responsibility, social entrepreneurship, and public-private partnerships, as well as guest-lectured at the Stanford Graduate School of Business, University of California, Berkeley, and various Japanese Universities. She has coauthored a number of articles, with her most recent entitled Rediscovering Social Innovation.

Dr. Kim Silverman: "Magic can change how we think about our lives"

Dr Kim Silverman, Principal Research Scientist at a major Silicon Valley technology company, has degrees in Cognitive Science and in Computer Science. His multi-disciplinary PhD is from Cambridge University, where he was a Research Fellow and member of the Governing Body of Downing College. His post-doctoral research was at the famous Bell Laboratories in New Jersey. For over 25 years, he has headed teams developing cutting-edge speech and language technologies and bringing them to fruition in real-world applications. With over 30 patents and numerous refereed research articles, he sits on the Board of Directors and review committees of several international scientific societies. In addition he is a professional magician, a Magician Member of the Academy of Magical Arts in Hollywood (better known as the world-famous Magic Castle), and president of the Silicon Valley chapter of the Society of American Magicians. He has presented three different TEDx talks on his unique and innovative approach to performance of magic. He gave a Commonwealth Club broadcast -- which was syndicated to over 162 networks nationwide -- on "Magic, Science, and the Human Mind".
