The availability of four scholarships for students planning to enter the Rutgers University School of Nursing two-year program to July 1955 was announced today by Professor Ella V. Stonsby, director of the State University school at the Newark College of Arts and. Sciences. Grants of $400 are offered by the Summit Overlook Hospital Nurses' Alumnae and Ciba Pharmaceutical Company. Awards of $300 are being provided by the Summit Junior Service League and Women's Auxiliary of Overlook Hospital. Scholarships presented by the Overlook Hospital nurses and women's auxiliary organizations list preference for students in t h e area served by the hospital, communities In Essex. Union, and Morris counties. There are no special stipulations attached to the Ciba and Summit Junior Service awards.
