If you fantasize about driving a silver Porsche like Tom Cruise in “Risky Business,” you’re a classy guy who is accustomed to luxury. If you prefer the cherry Ferrari from “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off,” you’re a road warrior flexing his muscles. Get inspired by these classic movie rides to showcase your true colors with your next ride.

‘Love Bug’ One classic and cute car that’s easy to find is the Bug, or the Volkswagen Beetle. The 1968

Disney film “Love Bug” features a white 1962 VW Bug painted with racing stripes and the number 53. Oldbug.com showcases old VW Beetles for sale, including 1960s’ models for $6,000 and up. ‘Back to the Future’ Fans of the “Back to the Future” franchise can pick up a retro/futuristic DeLorian for $30,000 and up, according to the DeLorian Motor Company. The car’s most recognizable feature is its vertically oriented doors. The car features a stainless steel body with impressive exterior styling. Purportedly, the engine is sluggish, so consider modifying it with a more powerful engine if you plan to take it on the road.

‘The Blues Brothers’ The 1974 Dodge Monaco (aka The Bluesmobile) from 1980 film “The Blues Brothers” was an old police cruiser that helped the comedy duo make many a getaway. As an old cop car, the Bluesmobile had the pickup you’d hope to have in a classic film car. If you have an old Dodge like this one, outfit it with a new set of BF Goodrich tires so you can make a faster, more memorable exit next time you’re hitting the highway. To score a police model Monaco like the one from the film, watch the classifieds at BluesBrothersCentral.com.

‘Risky Business’ So many of the classic movie cars have been Porsches, but the 928 model from the late ’70s/early ’80s nearly stole the show from Tom Cruise in the flick “Risky Business.” The car, which belonged to Cruise’s movie dad, served as the getaway vehicle for Cruise, a friend and a prostitute, and later it falls into Lake Michigan. In 2012, one of the actual “Risky Business” Porsche 928s (four were used during filming) sold at auction for $49,200, a nice chunk of change for movie memorabilia. Since you missed your chance to snap up that Porsche, look for affordable models at used car dealers or sites that specialize in used Porsches, like Ebay Motors. Or maybe another one of the 928s used in the movie will go up for sale soon.

‘Iron Man’ The Audi R8 from “Iron Man” is one classic film car you can score easily, since it’s a 2008 model. The midrange coupe boasts the same internal power as the badder Audis that scored top honor at Le Mans. The 2014 R8 retails for $114,900 at Audi dealers, or you can look to pick up an older model for closer to $90,000.
