CALENDAR FOR UNANIMOUS CONSENT. Paragraph 8, Role Xrll: "s..A.fter a bill which has been favorably reported shall be upon either the House or the Union Calendar any Member may 1Ile with the Olerk a notice that he desires such a bill placed upon a. epecial calendar to be known aa the • Olllendar forUnlUlimolls Consent.' On days when it shall be in order to move to suspend the rules the Speaker shaU, immediately after the npproyal of the Journal, direct the Clerk to call the bills which have been for three days u]1on the 'Calendar for Unanimous Consent.' Shonld objection be made to the consideration of any bill so called, l~ shall imm!O'dia~ly be strioken from sucb. calendarj but such hill may be restored to the calendar at the ins~nce of the Member, and if &gain objec~d to, it shall be Immediatoly stricken from such calendar and shall not i therea.f~r be placed thereon: PrOvided, That the same bill shall not be called twice on the same legis ative day."

CALENDAR WEDNESDAY. Paragraph 4, Rule XXIV: "4. After the unfinished business hllB been dieposed of, the Speaker shall call each standing committee in regular order, and then select cornmitteee, and each committee when named may oall up lor ronsideration any bill reported by it on a previous day ILnd on the House Calendar! and if the Speakcr shall not complete the call of the committees before the House passes to other business, he sha] resume the next call where he left off, giving preference to the last bill lmder consideration: PJ·olJt.ded, .Tha.t whenever any rommittee 81111011 have occupied the morning hour on two da.ys it shall not be in order to call up any other bill until the other committees ha.ve been called in their turn!' Paragraph 7, Rule XXIV: "7. On Wednesday of each week no business shall be in order except as provided by paragraph 4 of this rule, unless the House by a two-thirds vote on motion to dispenae therewith shall otherwise determine. CALENDAB OF MOTIONS TO DISCHARGE COMMITTEES. Paragraph 4, Rule XXVII: 114. Any Mem beT may present to the Clerk a motion in writing to discharge a committee from further consideranon of any public bill or jOint resolution which may have heen referred to such committee 15 days ~rior thereto. All suoh motions shan be entered in the JOUl'llal and printed on a calendar to be knOWll lIB a Calendar of Motions to Discharge Committees. Alter the Unanimous Oonsent Calendar shall have been ca.lled on any Monday, and motions to suspend the rules ha.ve been dWllosed of, it shaU be in order to call up any linch motlon which shall have. been entered at lellllt seven days prior thereto. "Recognition :for such motions sha.1l be in the order in which they have been entered. When such motion shall be called up, the bill shall be read by title only prior to a second belli?: ordered by tellers, and no BUch motion sha.U be entertained as to a bill or joint resolution the title of which con~lllB more than 100 words; after the reading of the bill by tit1e~ the motion shall not be submitted to the House unleas seconded by a majority by tellers; if such motion fails or a sBcond, it shall be immediately stricken from the ca.lendar and shall not be thereafter placed thereon.
