All-Round Finance Manager (24 - 32 hours per week, Amsterdam) Would you like to work in a fast-growing company, and support us with scaling-up and gaining market share? We are looking for hands on all-round finance manager who can manage the finance and accounts with controls and standards. As a Finance Manager, you will be responsible for financial analysis and reporting, budgeting and forecasting, subsidy reporting and insurance. You will oversee accounting, billing and collections and salary administration. The candidate will also support the purchase and the sales team with reviewing the contracts/ agreements from a financial perspective. You will execute finance and accounting activities by applying processes, methods and tools reflecting TVILIGHT’s mid- and long-term goals. The position serves as a partner to the CEO and the management team for successful financial performance. You should have a sound commercial insight, and able to interact in a professional way with the management and the shareholders.

Oversee financial administration and fiscal tax declarations (VAT, social securities, corporate income taxes). Perform checks for accuracy, consistencies and discrepancies; Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, cash flow reports, budgets, budget-to-actuals and financial projections; Create monthly reports and provide decision support to the MT and the shareholders; Prepare annual/ quarterly budgets, including cash/ liquidity planning, by matching the company’s strategic and technological goals with the financial ability and performance; Monitor performance against budget and provide forecasts and projections as needed with the required financial metrics. Work with the MT to ensure understanding of and create accountability for financial results and metrics; Review purchase and commercial contracts/ agreements and insurances from financial obligations and risks perspective; Perform subsidy reporting; Coordinate with external auditors for income tax preparations; Take pro-active cost optimization initiatives; Other duties as maybe assigned

A minimum of 5 years of relevant finance controller/ managerial experience with extended responsibilities; Proficient in finance and accounting fundamentals and financial work processes, and able to create concise financial reports; Proficiency in the use of Exact or similar finance tool; Experience with IFRS and account consolidation would be greatly valued; Type: independent, hands-on, pragmatic, all-round, open, flexible and entrepreneurial; Experience working closely with the MT and shareholders; must demonstrate sound commercial judgment and able to work effectively with all stakeholders, both inside and outside the organization; Strong analytical skills with an eye for details – able to identify value opportunities, challenge inefficiencies, and initiative process improvements to meet business goals; Able to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and able to work with a multicultural global team that is entrepreneurial and result driven; Prior work experience in an international environment would be a plus; Bachelor’s or Master’s (preferred) degree in Finance, Accounting or similar; Fluent in English and Dutch. German would a plus;
