In this serial, the family has seven children, all male. Each son was given their role but the majority of the story revolved around the fourth son, Alec Su, who is the rebel type because he is the one being scolded the most as he has his own ideologies. The story goes on as the family faces the war and one by one, the members faltered.

(English: The Promise) is film by the Belgian brothers Luc Dardenne and Jean-Pierre Dardenne. After his father kills a young man, a 15 year-old boy who has never known wrong from right finds himself at the center of a moral crisis. This boy must choose between his love for his father and the demands of his awakening conscience. 1994. The painful break-up of a couple provides the focus of this intense French drama film directed by Christian Vincent and based on the novel La Séparation by Dan Franck. Starring Isabelle Huppert and Daniel AuteuilAnne and Pierre live in Paris with their 15 month old son. When Anne suddenly announces that she loves another whom she will openly date, Pierre begins to suffer a quiet breakdown. In the end, he loses both Anne and his beloved son 2007. His appetites are witnessed by the ambitious Abbé Dubois (Jean Rochefort), an archbishop who humors him with the hope that someday his own thirst for power will be rewarded. All that decadence backfires, however, as citizens give into their disappointment and rage. Directed by Claude Chabrol, is a story about Mika (Isabelle Huppert), the couture-attired, oh-so perfect head of a company that manufactures Swiss chocolate and Andre, her suave, concert pianist husband whose first wife died years ago in a mysterious car accident. The film features Fabrice Luchini as Perceval, André Dussolier as Gauvain, and Arielle Dombasle as Blanchefleur. It was inspired by Chrétien de Troyes's 12th century Arthurian romance Perceval, the Story of the Grail. The film chronicles Perceval's knighthood, maturation and eventual peerage amongst the Knights of the Round Table, and also contains brief episodes from the story of Gawain and the crucifixion of Christ. Unlike other screen adaptations of Arthurian legend, the film makes no attempt at situating the characters in a natural or supernatural world. Instead, Perceval and his cohorts inhabit a colorful theatrical realm replete with rudimentary props, stylized backdrops, and a singing chorus that participates in the drama. At many points, characters narrate their own actions and thoughts rather than expressing them manifestly, and dialog is frequently spoken lyrically in rhyming couplets taken directly from the original text.. Sanjuro, a wandering samurai enters a rural town in nineteenth century Japan. After learning from the innkeeper that the town is divided between two gangsters, he plays one side off against the other. Unosuke has Sanjuro beaten after he reunites an abducted woman with her husband and son, then massacres his father's opponents. Sequel to Yojumbo: A group of idealistic young men, determined to clean up the corruption in their town, are aided by a scruffy, cynical samurai who does not at all fit their concept of a noble warrior. Chitose,Chiko to her friends, is unaware of the meaning of war but as a young Japanese girl growing up in Japanese occupied Korea during World War II she is soon to learn that soldiers on the battlefield are not the only casualties of armed conflict.

A middle-aged workaholic’s incredibly dull life takes a funny turn when he signs up for a ballroom dance class just to meet the sexy dance teacher. Princess Mononoke – A period when samurai warriors raided each other’s territories whenever they sensed weakness or advantage. Men and women driven from areas of conflict eked out their living in remote forests ruled by ancient gods. Ashitaka, a young warrior from the Emishi clan, is forced to kill a boar-god who has gone mad and threatened his village. Subsequently, he is wounded by the god, and the wound carries a curse of slow death. In his journey to lift the curse, Ashitaka encounters the girl SAN, raised by wolves and called Princess Mononoke, Princess of Demons and Spirits, by her human enemies. He also encounters samurai who massacres helpless villagers, a willy itinernant Buddhist priest, and a proud village of ironsmiths whose leady, the Lady Eboshi, would fight against samurai or forest gods to turn her walled fortress of a town into a safe and prosperous place to live. My Neighbor Totoro – To live nearer to their mother, who is recuperating from an illness in a hospital, little Mei and her elder sister Satsuki are moving with their father to a house in the country. Playing in the yard one day, Mei spots a tiny creature and follows it into the hollow of a huge tree. There she discovers Totoro, a giant, furry creature the size of a small house, fast asleep. Totoro and his friends can not be seen by adults, but only by the children who love them. Mei and Satsuki fly with Totoro on a warm summer night, plant a giant tree that grows in minutes and sit high on its branches. The girls also call on Totoro to help when they are in trouble. Set of three DVDs A love story which takes place in Japan concerning a college boy and his beautiful landlord. Other tenants add to a zany cast of fun and intriguing members whom can be nosy yet help each other through day to day concerns. This is Yamaguchi Momo’s first debut on the screen. She was 14, portraying an innocent young dancer penned by Kawabata Yasunari. The film was based on the young Yasunari’s real life story which he had a brief time of romance with a girl dancer. Kurosawa’s first film in color but also the most pessimistic one. Though he had made use of surrealist color and setting to achieve a happygo-lucky atmosphere, the film inevitably gave audience an intense depressing feelings. The leading role is a retarded child who always imitates a tram driver and “drive” around his town. The film focuses upon the slum life who debase themselves to survive. After finished the film, Kurosawa’s attempted suicide. Chitose,Chiko to her friends, is unaware of the meaning of war but as a young Japanese girl growing up in Japanese occupied Korea during World War II she is soon to learn that soldiers on the battlefield are not the only casualties of armed conflict.
