Instructions * Prior to answering the questions below, you must go to Google or to a Web site such as http://ancient-rome.tripod.com/romanforum/roman_forum.htm or http://www.livinginrome.com/info/roman-forum.php or http://www.capitolium.org/eng/fori/pianta.htm to research the answers to the questions below and to get a general idea of what the “place” looks like. For example, many of the structures in the Roman Forum are not well labeled and will be difficult to find if you have not done your homework. * Prior to going to Rome you will be given a Rome Pass that will give you access to the museums/sites you need to complete the assignment, as well as a three-day transportation pass. * The week before you go to Rome to complete this assignment, you will have visited Rome and received hands-on instructions on how to navigate from place to place using your map. * You can go on the scavenger hunt with another student or a small group of students; however, all work you turn in must be your own, taken on your own camera. No photosharing is allowed. Any violation of this rule is subject to disciplinary action as outlined in the Tiger Cub. * Your Rome Pass will allow you entrance to the Coliseum, the Roman Forum, and the Capitoline Museum. You will not be returning to these sites as part of the program, so please make the most of your Pass. Now you are ready to begin…(1) find each place below, (2) take a photo with you in it (to prove that you actually were there), (3) load it on to a Powerpoint presentation, and (4) label each slide with the correct answer—include 20 photos only and make sure the answers correspond to the 20 questions listed below, and (5) run off a hard copy of the Powerpoint presentation to hand in. THE LABEL SHOULD BE THE NAME OF THE PLACE OR MONUMENT. Check spelling. I will deduct points for incorrectly labeled and/or misspelled items.
