Keller ISD will host a District-wide College Fair from 6-8 p.m. Monday, November 14 at Timber Creek High School. Representatives from more than 75 colleges and organizations are scheduled to be in attendance, including ivy league schools, four-year universities, community colleges, technical institutes, armed forces, and job placement agencies. This will be a great opportunity for all Keller ISD students, regardless of post-high school interests. The Tarrant County College Financial Aid Department will also be hosting financial aid information sessions in the Fine Arts Center that evening every 30 minutes. Timber Creek High School is located at 12350 Timberland Blvd.
Choices is a conference for 500 middle and high school Keller ISD students. This empowerment-oriented conference will include several dynamic speakers as well as breakout sessions that will encourage participants to apply the practical strategies they’ve learned to change their community’s problems connected to alcohol, drugs, and other social concerns and challenges. Topics include Test Anxiety, College Prep, Sexting, Suicide, Drugs, Depression and much more! The conference will be held April 21 at Harvest Church from 9:30am-2:00pm.
