We lived at Aventino for 6 months while searching for a home. The first floor 2 BR apartment we rented was next to the Cyber Cafe was ideal for apartment living. Being that our patio was next to the fountain, it was soothing to sit outside listening to it. Having the seating area outside the cafe was like having an extended patio for us. We enjoyed many a glass of wine in the evenings there as well as the free coffee from the cafe in the morning while reading the paper. We never experienced any noise issues being next to the Cafe; it was rarely utilized. Our 2 children also loved the proximity of the pool to the apartment unit and we enjoyed the close proximity to the workout facility just steps away. The management was outstanding and when issues came up, they were addressed immediately. We appreciated that and highly recommend Aventino.

I've lived here close to 5 years and I've always loved living here. I love the proximity to the trail and downtown Los Gatos. But in Feb 2018 the unspeakable happened: Greystar Property Management took over Aventino and I would never recommend this place again. The rents collected each month vary significantly. I'm being charged hundreds of dollars more for utilities without any explanation. There are never responses to any complaints whether I call or email them.

These apartments have the worst management of all time. Don't expect anything from them after you sign a lease. They won't even take a package for you. They complain about anything you ask for. The ladies in the front desk have the worst customer service. They are disrespectful and do not care about helping you on anything you might need.

We have been living here for more than a year and when we moved in, the place was great! Unfortunately, the entire office staff at the leasing office has changed and things have gone downhill very quickly. They have just decided to completely reassign ALL parking spaces around the complex, with almost no consideration to whether or not the new spaces will work for tenants. In addition, the only notification about this reassignment was a note left at your front door stating that all vehicles should be moved in 4 days time. When trying to speak to someone in the office about the issue the same day we received the notice, we were told that "management isn't here and there is nothing I can do. Come back on Monday to talk to management." In addition, we have a broken window in our apartment which I created a service request for. After waiting around all day for someone to come take a look, I called the office and had to leave a voicemail to express my concern. In addition, I walked down to the office to find that there were two people there, sitting in the back room, talking. They seemed very unhappy that I even came in and I was told "I know your request is in there, I saw it." Unprofessional and unhelpful. Don't move here!

As a long term resident this review is overdue, but better late than never. I want to take a moment to express that this community is what you call a home. I admire the grounds, amenities, interior finishes, location to Campbell and Los Gatos and the sense of community you feel with some of the neighbors who've also lived here a long time. I don't have much interaction with the office as there is the convenience of communicating through the resident portal, lease signing, work orders, etc. in addition, have the benefit of having Package Concierge (lockers) to pick up my Amazon packages before/after hours. However, most of my encounters have been with the maintenance team and I am grateful to have Jason, service supervisor always on top of facilitating the needs of the apartment. Given the high demands of the residents in a luxury community, his professionalism and assistance doesn't go unappreciated. So thank you to Aventino and team for continuing to make me a happy resident.

Beware Aventino, they took 2 months rent from my checking account when only 1 month was due, which is illegal (they did not have charges to justify the debit). They did not reimburse my account, and instead sat on my money for 30 additional days, even though they admitted that it was collected in error. I am very disappointed with this poor customer service, and will be discussing with my legal counsel.

Beware, they will keep almost all of your deposit even if you hire professional cleaners and leave the place in move in condition.

Don't be fooled by their fancy office and the premises which is rather nice. They just keep raising the rents and charging for as much as they can to get every lat penny out of you!

We moved into Aventino a few weeks ago after looking at many other apartments and homes to rent. We went back to visit Aventino several times before making a decision. We worked with Omar in the leasing office of whom was professional, informative and patient in showing us all our options.....we really can't say enough about his customer service. Since we've been here it's been a great experience, if we have any questions or concerns everyone in the leasing office is always there to help. The apartment is great, along with the beautiful grounds and all the amenities. I would highly recommend Aventino.

Does anyone know about this? And when it's happening? That seems like an awfully large oversight to not even mention this to unsuspecting renters! I wonder if others know.

My husband and i have lived in the Aventino Apartments since March of 2015, so fairly new to the community. We really enjoy the atmosphere here. We were happy to find that Aventino is pet friendly which was a big importance for us, because we have a dog.The property is well maintained and while walking around inside the courtyard area, gives you the feel of being at a resort. The amenities here are very nice. We have been very impressed with the friendly office staff, but also the guys in the building maintenance. Any issues we have had, have been taken care of promptly. The only thing that i wish Aventino had to accommodate us with dogs, is a place that we could take our dogs to play off leash. Suggestion: the grass areas could be fenced so there would be two areas for different size dogs. Add this and you get 5 stars!

Love this place. Have called this place home for the last few years. I am happy with so many aspects of the Aventino community. First of all one of the things that I enjoy most is the tranquility of the community. It is a quite community. Love to come home after a long day and just enjoy the quite. Another thing that I enjoy are the amenities and services. I especially love the gym. While small it covers all gym needs. The management and staff are great. If I need any repairs they are tended to quickly and efficiently. I have received nothing but great services from Aventino management an staff. This is a place that I would recommend to any of my friends to live at.

We needed to move quickly, and chose Aventino because it fit all of our check boxes (available, allows large dogs, close to work). I'm so happy it lined up for us...we love it here! My favorite things about Aventino: beautiful apartments, great maintenance staff, super sweet office gals, nice amenities, located in an excellent school district, very family friendly, direct trail access (long walk or short bike to Vasona Park or downtown Campbell). Areas for improvement: bike seat theft continues to be a problem in the secured bike storage area, and there are some inconsiderate dog owners who disregard the rules in the lease and allow their dogs to defecate anywhere. I would love to see more signs reminding people where dogs are not allowed (dog poop has been particularly problematic in the kid play area). Overall, we're very happy here and hope to stay for a long time!

I remember when the apartments were first built I used to drive by and think how pretty the architecture was, well now I live here. My husband & I recently moved into Aventino in one of the townhomes. We absolutely love it!

The leasing staff is amazing. The girls are all very sweet and definitely go the extra mile for you. The grounds, landscape and the amenities make the complex beautiful and very homey. The location is perfect with easy access to both Los Gatos & Campbell. Plus, Aventino backs up to the creek trail with 2 entry gates. Another thing I really like is that there seems to be a diverse mix of residents. I have met Young Professionals, Empty Nesters, Expats and families with young children. The only downside I have seen thus far is parking can be tough for guests. Otherwise, we couldn't be happier with our decision to move here!

I tagged along with a friend to tour the property. Management & staff were very friendly and professional. They were very personable and cared about my friends needs and criteria. They have a gorgeous pool and other amenities. They also do not have a weight restriction for dogs, which is a plus! They also have a doggy area where they provide treats and water for the pets! Prices seem reasonable as they are one of the new properties in Los Gatos. Overall, one of the best architectural property in Los Gatos!

If you're going to live in an apartment complex in the South Bay, this is the best choice. With fantastic office staff like Brisa and Molly, your FedEx packages will be delivered when you're not home and their fax machine will be available when u need it.

The location is great as lg and Campbell are within a mile or two, the lg trail backs up to the property, and the pool feels like you're on vacation. The maintenance staff like Olga and Enrique are so responsive and sweet. You can't go wrong living here.

2 Stars for grounds. Very nice but a big dog toilet (everywhere). 1 Star for tenants who have no respect for neighbors. Barking and defecating dogs. Out of control and unsupervised kids have the run of the place. Party central for 20-somethings on weekends. Woe to you if you live near cafe, pool, or theater. AC located just outside bedroom window and sounds like a jet engine. Earplugs recommended. 0 Stars for management. Don't even bother to complain. Can't wait to move.

I have lived here since 2010 it has been a great experience until recent management change in Nov. Previous management used to provide great service to deliver packages to units with approved permissions, prompt response to emails and requests. New management stops package delivery service the day they took over, this is super inconvenient for frequent business travelers such as myself, delay or no email replies with questions.

Also they mentioned in Nov the credit card machine was not working to charge rent that it should work in Dec, so I tried to use credit card for rent payment the management mentioned it is not working yet that it should work in Jan. It has been very frustrating experience with new management they should let some who knows what they are doing to manage this property. Given the pricy rent they charge I do expect to get what I am paying for.

I lived here a few years ago. The management was very nice to us before we moved in. However, after moving in we were in for a surprise. The upstairs neighbor kept us up every night and the management did very little to address the situation. The AC units are very loud during summer time and sleeping while they are on takes a lot of effort! After we moved out, they charged us $500 for clean up. Upon challenging this charge, management told us it was normal to charge that much after tenants move out!!!

Beware if you happen to get a place near popular places( e.g. Theatre) There's a reason people move out of those units all the time. You'll have no peace and quiet. I'm not sure if things have changed now, but from reading other reviews I can tell they are still the same. I'm general, management is arrogant and cares little about complaints. The place isn't as quiet as they make out to be. Lastly, people's cars were broken into all the time in spite of the fact that it's supposedly a gated garage!

This complex simply making every day living situations unbearable. For the cost of living here it is not worth it. The management is hard to work with and are looking to scold it's residents for anything. Management used to be wonderful, then they switched over. DO NO RECOMMEND
