Park Permit Lottery - Ice Cream Truck and Cycle Vending Closing Date: May 28, 2012 2:00:00 PM (local time) City of Mississauga Reference: FA.49.538-12 Prequalification required: No PROCUREMENT NO.: FA.49.538-12 PARK PERMIT LOTTERY – ICE CREAM TRUCK AND CYCLE VENDING Closing Date and Time: Monday, May 28th, 2012, 2:00 p.m. Local Time Ice cream vendors are invited to partake in a lottery in order to service various Destination Parks and Wards in Mississauga during the summers of 2012 and 2013. Interested vendors with ice cream trucks and cycles can pick up complete documentation from: The Manager, Materiel Management, Corporate Services Department, The Corporation of the City of Mississauga, 300 City Centre Drive, Ground Floor, (next to Parking Elevators), Mississauga, ON, L5B 3C1. To be considered, vendors must have a valid Ice Cream/Refreshment “Owners” Licence and an appropriate licence to operate an ice-cream truck, issued by the Enforcement Division of the City of Mississauga. All fines must be paid in full. A permit fee, in the form of a certified cheque or bank draft, in the amount specified for each Destination Park or Ward must be attached to each application. Permit fees range from $288.32 to $6,297.54 per Destination Park, and $239.74 to $1,020.23 for a group of parks in a Ward. Applications must be time-stamped at the above location to be considered. LATE BIDS will be rejected without exception. Vendors are invited to attend a public opening commencing at 2:30, LOCAL TIME, on the day of closing, at the Mississauga Civic Centre, at which time the lottery will be conducted. The City reserves the right to accept or reject all or any bids and to waive informalities in accordance with established policy. Only those vendors selected at random through the lottery process will be permitted to sell products in City parks.
