April 6 – During Chol Hamoed Passover and just days before the 150th commemoration of the Lincoln assassination, will lead a program about Jewish life in DC at the time of the Civil War. Lunch will be at the 6th & I Synagogue followed by a tour of Ford’s Theater. Sign up information will be available soon. April 19 - To mark 150 years since the end of the Civil War, will lead a "Shul ride" tour of Antietam, exploring the events that set in motion the eventual end of the war. Sign up information will be available soon. Shabbat May 2 – Join David Flatto, a gifted teacher and associate professor of law, religion, and history at Penn State Law School, for a Scholar in Residence Shabbat.

70 Days for 70 Years, KMS is participating in this ongoing worldwide self-study program that has multiple start dates in 2015. It is designed to engage and empower participants in a global project in memory of Holocaust victims and create a positive learning experience.
