You can volunteer as an EMT, a Rescue Tech, or with our Board of Directors.

EMT's of all levels work alongside our paid-staff running ambulance calls.

BCRS assists with Wilderness Search and Rescue and Firefighter Rehabilitation.

The BOD supports the Squad's mission and needs through fundraising, advisement, and oversight.

EMS Volunteers are provided opportunities to rehabilitate firefighters and participate in event stand-bys.

Forms

We take new EMT's and train them to be fully functional and experienced crew members.

BCRS also participates in the NC Mountain Search and Winter Alpine Rescue team.

Directors meet once a month on the 3rd Monday at 5pm and as-needed.

We train our leaders in Incident Command, SAR planning, and lost person behavior.

Directors are expected to donate $1,000 a year in cash or in-kind donations/services.
