The strengths of your business (SWOT) and the positive elements i.e. staff, outdoor area, facilities etc. Corporate identity' to be created to appear on everything associated with the business. What public transport is there? How far will parents travel? This will determine what areas to advertise in. How well are other childcare settings doing? Where are other providers and what are their prices? What extra do you have to offer? Who will do what and by when. Who will sell the services and how - this provides a useful monitoring tool How much is available for marketing - Find potential Customers - Interest them in your business - Satisfy their needs - Sell to them Demonstrates how much cash will be required and the amount of income generated and where it is from Gross income less gross expenditure = gross profit How many children would be needed to cover all costs Include any more detailed information that supports your business plan such as policies and procedures, proof of planning permission, CV's of managers etc
