STUDENT PAGES: The Polar Bears of Summer Carbon Footprint Activity For this activity, you will calculate your carbon footprint and then compare your footprint with footprints from others in your state, the US, and worldwide. Instructions for calculating your carbon footprint: 1. Go to the International Student Carbon Footprint Challenge, created by Stanford University at: http://footprint.stanford.edu/calculate.html 2. You do NOT need to download the calculator, just go to the bottom of the webpage and click on: “Calculate My Footprint Now”. You do NOT need to register to participate. Register only if your teacher instructs you to do so. 3. Click on the Compare footprint at the top of the webpage (or go to this webpage: http://footprint.stanford.edu/compare.html) to compare your results with those of other students worldwide
