So lovely! The simplicity really grabs the attention. Congrats and wear it in good health! Re: Junghans Meister Chronoscope Telemeter Silver Dial by dony.habibie » Sun Jan 22, 2017 8:30 am Thanks guys, this piece is my current favorite. The only small concern that I have is in the movement. It's an ETA 2824 with Dubois-Depraz module, which I heard is more difficult to maintain vs Valjoux 7750. Any thoughts? Re: Junghans Meister Chronoscope Telemeter Silver Dial by Sabbath » Sun Jan 22, 2017 11:43 am I don't know about the movement but the watch itself is stunning. Congratulations - like others have said out of the 2 watches you have highlighted there is only one winner... this one. I've been interested in the Junghans Meister series for some time ,but at 38mm the watch seem too small. I like the 40mm size which fits my wrist very well. I've heard the statement that the Junghans looks larger on the wrist than 38mm due to the crystal and bezel design, but I'm skeptical . Does anyone have firsthand knowledge about this issue?
You'd be surprise that 38mm junghans dial will actually feel like it's a 40+mm. The reason why: they maximise the design feature of their domed plexiglass so there's almost no bezel gap (will be hardly executed with sapphire crystal). This applies both to max bill series and meister series (except the flieger). Also on max bill series it's even better because the design is so simple and clean. I got Stowa Antea KS, and because of the similar bauhaus design vs junghans max bill, it does feel larger than it is. Thank you sir! This is great information and very helpful. fishman Forumgod Posts: 922 Joined: Fri Feb 05, 2016 5:58 pm Top Reply with quote

~7.25" It certainly looks larger than 38mm. I've always liked this design, particularly the dark grey dial. fishman Forumgod Posts: 922 Joined: Fri Feb 05, 2016 5:58 pm Top Reply with quote
Re: Junghans Meister Chronoscope Telemeter Silver Dial by gwells » Mon Jan 23, 2017 4:51 pm visually it wears at a decent size. it's actually 37mm. if you're used to a heavy watch, it wears *very* light. handwound, very thin, very light. i occasionally think, "whoah, is my watch still there?" until i see it, because i'm used to wearing heavier divers. but less and less occasionally as time goes on. i think visually it has good wrist presence and is very easy to read at a glance. doesn't look small at all. the "g" is for Greg...

My wrist size is 7.125" so, I'm pleased about the wrist presence, but somewhat surprised.I notice that some of the markers are applied and some printed. How does that look visually and is it distracting in any way? fishman Forumgod Posts: 922 Joined: Fri Feb 05, 2016 5:58 pm Top Reply with quote
Re: Junghans Meister Chronoscope Telemeter Silver Dial by gwells » Mon Jan 23, 2017 8:13 pm doesn't bother me at all. remember, you're looking at what's an extreme closeup here. it's not nearly as noticeable at a glance on your wrist. the "g" is for Greg...
