ACADEMY CONNECTION FTP CENTER RESOURCES The Academy Connection "FTP Center" is a facility for instructors to upload and share at no cost program teaching resources with other instructors globally. Among the array of resources available for download are two excellent workbooks developed by Robb Jones at the Frederick County Career & Technology Center Cisco Networking Academy, Frederick, Maryland, USA. The titles are: (1)
"IP Addressing and Subnetting Workbook" This workbook matches CCNA 1 Module 10. It is 54 pages in length and presents a complete range of IP addressing and subnetting problems with worked examples in each section.

"Access Lists Workbook" This workbook matches CCNA 2 Module 11. It is 70 pages in length and includes ACL tutorials, problems and worked examples.
Each workbook is in PDF format and each is also available in an Instructor's Edition with all the solutions and supporting workings and information for each problem. To access these resources: 1. 2. 3.

Log into Academy Connection at http://cisco.netacad.net In Instructor Home click on the FTP Center link on the right hand Resources menu. In the Downloads Search area enter the following criteria: In the Username field enter: jonesr0 Under Curriculum select CCNA Then click on Search (Note: When using the FTP search feature always set very general criteria.) Scroll to the bottom four titles on the table of search results. (Only these four are relevant to CCNA v3 curriculum.) Click on the respective links: Mod 10 IP Addressing and Subnetting Workbook (97 KB) Mod 10 IP Addressing and Subnetting Workbook - Instructors Edition (132 KB) Mod 11 Access Lists Workbook (213 KB) Mod 11 Assess Lists Workbook - Instructors Edition (230 KB) to download the PDFs of the student and instructor editions of the workbooks.
You are free to distribute in total or in part, in electronic or print form, the Student Edition of each workbook. However, please do not make the Instructors Edition publicly available in any form. If you do use any of the workbooks please email Robb (
[email protected]) to let him know the number of copies and how you are distributing the workbooks. The FTP Center now also allows you to rate the resources and leave comments about the various resources.
