Separate permits from the Fire Department are required for automatic fire detection system, after obtaining an electrical permit from the Permit Counter. Site development requires permit applications to comply with the Everett Design and Construction Standards and Stormwater Management requirements on new building and site development permit applications. New building construction or change of occupancy should first be reviewed by Planning & Community Development to comply with the Everett Zoning Code.
