About
Aims
The e-JUMP 2.0 project is designed to promote the possibilities of e-Learning 2.0 by raising the competence and confidence of teachers in higher and vocational education. In addition, through action research it will measure the effect of e-Learning 2.0 on everyday teaching and learning processes, identifying success factors and obstacles for further enhancement of the technologies. The project will focus on social software, connections between various learning communities and networking.
To promote e-Learning 2.0 and raise the competence and confidence of teachers by developing 3 online training courses for the teachers and other staff in higher and vocational education, concentrating on new technologies, assessment methods and administration in e-learning
To enhance and develop the training courses further through testing the e-courses among 90 teachers and other staff of higher and vocational education
To identify the success factors and obstacles (assess and document the changes and improvements) of the training courses and e-Learning 2.0 by conducting action research among the teachers who have participated in the training courses
To establish 3 sustainable networks of teachers in higher and vocational education while writing the compendiums of action research reports for sharing best practices in using e-Learning 2.0
To share the results and resources of the project with a wider community by developing a database for the metadata and modules of the e-courses
