FAQ Troubleshooting tips for using CoT App
#1 How to add a camera to mobile device? A: Method 1 - Manual Add using network Ethernet cable Power on the camera by plugging it into a power source, connect one end of the network cable to the camera LAN interface and the other end to the router LAN interface (make sure the router DHCP function is on). Once successfully connected, the camera LAN interface yellow light will turn on and the green light will flash. Once you have logged in to the CoT Pro App, you will see the main page: "My Camera". Press the button then press “Manual” or “Manual Add” to add a camera to your camera list, please input Device ID, device name, default password: “123” and press “Save”. Your camera has now been successfully connected to your mobile device! Method 2 - Using Smart Wifi Once you have logged in to the CoT Pro App, you will see the main page: "My Camera". Press the button to add a camera to your camera list. Power on the camera by plugging it into a power source. It will take up to 1 minute to power up and begin beeping. Once it begins to beep, click on "Smart Wifi” or “Wifi Connect” and press "Next". Input your Wifi password and press "Next". Please wait while a Smartlink is established between the camera and your mobile device. You will hear a big beep from the camera and a box will appear with “Setup successful” or “Setting Success!” once the connection is successful, press "OK". On the next screen, please input the default password: "123", and press "Save". Your camera has now been successfully connected to your mobile device!
