Regional Plan: This insurance has an annual limit of 1 million AED, it provides regional insurance with the exception of USA, Canada and Europe, but it covers emergency cases worldwide. The maternity care is covered up to AED 10.000 outside the UAE, optional dental insurance, 80% reimbursement outside of network. Other services include second opinion check and the annual cancer checks for women over 35 years and for men over 45 years of age. UAE Plan: This insurance has an annual limit of 500.000 AED providing regional insurance within the UAE only. Emergency cases are covered in about a hundred countries, maternity covered fully within the UAE (same goes for every upper mentioned insurances), optional dental insurance only for groups, no reimbursement outside of network. Other provided services include second opinion check and the annual cancer checks for women over 35 years old and for men over 45 years of age. Abu Dhabi Plan: The Abu Dhabi plan’s annual limit is 250.000 AED and the insurance is only valid within the area of Abu Dhabi emirate. The maternity is fully covered with the yearly cancer checks over 35 year old for women and over 45 years old for men. This insurance is available for expatriates for AED 4000 with and AED 5000 without accommodation. Visitor Plan: The visitor plan offers an annual limit of AED 100.000 for tourists within the UAE. Their validity is from 40 days up to 190 days. The insurance offers healthcare in emergency cases and does not pay for any pre-existing conditions, does not pay any reimbursement and does not offer any maternity, optical or dental conditions. This plan is definitely not the best tourist insurance within the UAE.
