I first visited Dentzz Dental (the Greater Kailash branch, New Delhi) on March 10, 2015 to have a veneer rebonded. I made a follow-up appointment for a teeth bleaching on March 12, 2015. Whilst having the teeth bleached, another

veneer popped off and I discussed having the veneers replaced. I was told that I was a more suitable candidate for crowns, and that they advised that I have intentional root canal therapy (RCT) done on all six teeth that were to be prepped with crowns. Not knowing any better and confident that I was being advised correctly, I agreed to the RCT and had it performed.

I have spoken to numerous dentists afterward, who have all been shocked that RCT was performed on six perfectly healthy teeth. It is an invasive method that is reserved for decaying/infected/dying teeth. I was wrongly advised that RCT is necessary before crowns, as nowhere in the world is that considered ethical practice.

The result is that I have severely weakened teeth, and at no point of time did the doctors tell me that the RCT was optional, or that it could lead to weakening the tooth. The procedure was recommended to con me into parting with more money, with no regard for my dental health. Dentists like this should NOT be allowed to operate. Dentists and outfits like this should be compelled to comply with dental medical ethics.

Had a similar experience. This is a case for criminal and consumer court. Dentzz owners, doctors everybody should be held accountable for malpractice. RJB 2533's reply, Dec 17, 2016

After checking references from Melb, I decided that Dentzz was the clinic for me. After all that investigation, it proved to be THE WORST EXPERIRNCE OF MY LIFE! Strong comment, hardly as seven months after 15 crowns were done, I have to have them all removed and the process started again to the tune of $30k. 4 weeks after my return from Delhi, I contacted the Aust Dental Assocation and they recommended me to see a specialist prosthodontics that works with Cerec crowns which were the best available on the market. SVDC told me that there were NOT Cerec but porcelain fused radio-graph substructure after (either metal or zirconia) after a thorough exam and radiograph. They confirmed open contact points which was the reason I felt food being impacted between teeth..this would soon lead to periodontal disease and decay under crowns due to constant food retention, plaque accumulation. Thought my entire mouth there is an unbalanced occlusion (bite) and this is why I feel the foreign texture and traction. Every time I eat, I experience inflammation and tenderness/bleeding of gums, I have to floss 3 - 4 times during a meal. I can only eat sloppy food due to this problem, and I am a keen foodie. Moreover, they were fraudulent in the use of my MasterCard...this matter is currently being taking up with Latitude Finance via the Banking Ombudsman and the Victorian Consumer action group. They have lied and mis-represented much information and negligent/unprofessional in their dealings. I paid Dentzz a very high amount and spent 58 hours in the dental chair, this is almost unheard of to Australian Dental authorities. Stay away from this crowd... I can be contacted for any further information if need be...practices in foreign lands to we Australians must be severed immediately. I am in the process of having the work rectified in Melb as Dentzz refused to take any responsibility for their work. $30k over 8 months. Continuing pain and suffering! Lorraine Cotter Rj

I believe this as my friend had a similar situation with Dentzz Kemps corner. You should see a lawyer about this situation as i was lucky and escaped..
