Basically the communication can be divided into the following six type:
Intrapersonal Communication It is operated by man either consciously or unconsciously with the verbal, nonverbal or vocal aids and levels. All organism heavily depends on the strong intra personal communication because it is the basic form of communication from which all other forms have been derived or originated. So any person involved in this kind of communication is effective than his all other kinds with all other persons will also be good. Here all the necessary elements of communication are present there.
For example if a person is talking to himself, thinking or recalling something in his mind. In such a case his year or ears are senders which send the message through the medium means her central nervous system in the form of impulses (message). The message comes of the receiver which is human brain. Here comes the last element of communicate i.e. feedback.
Intrapersonal Communication It involve involves two or more persons are conveying with each other. It is also a good type in which the person can easily understand each other point of view. The best thing in such communication is that “feedback” is received directly from the persons. All the components of model play a vital role. It may face so the person can understand the face and gestures of the other persons.
Extra-personal Communication Here the environment plays a vital role because when a person talks to other species and even nonliving beings like plants or walls etc. For Example, a person talking to himself when he is lonely or talking to a parrot etc.
Mass communication It is large scale communication in which a large number of audience are effected. The number of audience in such case are countless. It is the most important type which is not possible without mass media. It is carried out by either radio, TV or newspaper. It is the most powerful means but here feedback is very much delayed in this process. For example, the president is delivering a speech through radio or TV to the nation and it affects all the geographical areas of the world.
Group Communication It is interaction of persons belonging to small groups. Group members should listen effectively and understand their role. Effective communication means better feedback and decision making. Group size and physical arrangement are the important factors. Effective groups share ideas and reach to conclusion. All members should feel comfortable while sharing ideas.
Media Communication It take place through scientific communicating instrument like mobile, emails, viber, facebook and other social media packages.
