Elevator Pitch Conversation Starters: 1. Girl Scouts is building our future leaders - it’s that simple. Whether they're selling cookies, earning badges, or camping, everything is girl-led. By giving girls different perspectives and opportunities to make a difference, we inspire girls to give back and share the good. 2. With Girl Scouts, caregivers have the unique opportunity to experience their girl’s journey firsthand by volunteering with the troop. When I was a Girl Scout, my mom organized the troop’s cookie sale. It was always so much fun helping her count out the cookies every year. To this day, she is still in contact with the other moms and many of the girls from my troop. 3. I was a Girl Scout for eight years, and I have many fond memories of the years I spent with my troop. I remember the giggles, learning new skills like archery and cooking over a fire. I made so many friends in my troop and with girls in other troops. One time we spent the weekend in the wilderness, singing songs around the campfire. It was the first time I ever stayed away from home, but it was so much fun.
