The following is information about our recruitment practices and expected timeframes. We are often fortunate to receive applications from many wellqualified candidates for most of our positions. Therefore, you may not hear feedback regarding your application unless you are selected for interview. All candidates do receive an email message to inform when the position is filled. For our Faculty/Research/Professional positions we exclusively use search committees to screen and review candidate pools. Following passing of the priority consideration date the search committee will review the qualifications of all candidates in the pool and will reach out to selected candidates for follow up, likely with phone interviews. Given the dynamic nature of committee processes, it may take several weeks beyond the priority consideration date for the completion of review of application materials. For our Staff positions the hiring official may or may not employ the work of a search committee. These positions close on a specific date and are reviewed by Human Resources for minimum qualifications (if using a search committee) or more in-depth review of strengths based on the job ad (if not using a search committee). Again typical next steps are phone interviews followed by campus interviews for selected candidates.
