The study group included 55 women (68.8%) and 25 men (31.3%) with a mean age and SD of 50.56 ± 14.28 yrs. The control group included 25 women (62.5%) and 15 men (37.5%) with a mean age of 50.93 ± 11.73 yrs. Serum leptin levels were measured by the enzyme immunoassay method.
