You can connect a portable dishwasher or water filter to any Delta kitchen faucet that is not a pull-out or pull-down design. Never connect a portable dishwasher to pull-out or pull-down kitchen faucets, as potential pressure fluctuations during dishwasher operation may result in the hose rupturing. Some Delta kitchen faucets have a cache, or hidden, aerator for design purposes. This design can be found in the Victorian, Pilar, and Talbott series. If your model has a cache (hidden) aerator, you will need to order RP51505 adaptor to adapt the internal threads to standard 55/64"-27 male threads in order to connect the dishwasher. The old support assembly is not large enough for the Quick Connect to pass through. Most likely your sink has a very smooth underside and with use, the mounting bracket is loosening up over time. The two hoses for the sprayer and for the spout cannot be interchanged which would cause the spray to not function. The o-ring for the sprayer and a spacer are inside the housing of the sprayer hose. The most common reason is from a loose adjusting ring: Check for loose adjusting ring and tighten as needed.
The second reason relates to the type of ball valve installed. Earlier production of this faucet included a vacuum breaker ball. Since then a new spray head was developed with internal check assemblies, eliminating the requirement for a vacuum breaker ball. The vacuum breaker ball can be identified through the existence of two vent holes in the top of it.
If the faucet has a vacuum breaker ball, there are two options: 1. Replace the vacuum breaker ball, part number RP12301 OR 2. The problem may be a blocked or damaged diverter assembly. Follow these steps to solve: To access the diverter -- Single-handle faucet: 1. Shut off water supply under the sink. 2. Cover drain opening so parts won’t fall into it. 3. Remove the handle, cap, cam, packing and ball assembly. Gently rotate and lift off the spout.
4. Remove the diverter assembly. Be sure to remove the entire diverter.
Insert a flat head screwdriver or an Allen wrench into the body cavity to pop out the diverter. Check for debris on the diverter, as well as in the diverter cavity in the faucet body. A flashlight will help when looking to the back of the cavity. 5. Clean the diverter thoroughly by soaking in a 50/50 vinegar and water solution for two hours; reinstall. If diverter appears damaged, replace it with Delta® diverter RP320. To access the diverter -- Two-handle faucet: 1. Shut off water supply under the sink. 2. Cover drain opening so parts won’t fall into it. 3. Unscrew and remove the spout nut. Use a crescent wrench to loosen if necessary.
4. Unscrew the diverter from the top of the body using a coin (if the diverter is plastic) or a screwdriver (if the diverter is metal). Be sure to remove the entire diverter.
5. Clean the diverter by soaking in a 50/50 vinegar and water solution for 2 hours. Flush any debris from the opening. 6. Replace the diverter and spout nut.
Check to see if the diverter functions properly. If not, replace it with Delta diverter RP6073. Be sure that the old diverter seal is removed before install the new diverter. The old diverter seal can prevent the new diverter from operating properly Be careful not to over tighten the diverter. NOTE: Old style metal and current-style plastic diverters are interchangeable. This solution will help remove any deposits while not harming the finish. Behind the drain pipe under the sink is a horizontal rod that is connected to the lift rod by a strap. The horizontal rod is held in place by a nut. Lift & Turn The lift & turn stopper for the bathtub unscrews counterclockwise while in the "full up" position. Toe Tap The toe tap stopper also unscrews counterclockwise while in the "full up" position. However, the cap may unscrew from the plunger assembly before the entire stopper comes out. In that case, there is a nut that will be exposed that can be used to unscrew the plunger assembly from the drain. If either of these is "spinning" without unscrewing, the threads are stripped, and you will need to exert upward pressure while unscrewing to uncouple this from the bath waste. FAQ Search FAQs On my widespread kitchen, bathroom sink, lavatory, or Roman tub faucet there is too much of a gap between the escutcheon and the handle. How can I fix this? A small gap is normal and necessary to allow proper movement of the handle without damaging the escutcheon below it. An excessive gap results from improper height adjustment at the time of installation. To fix it: 1. Loosen the nut under the counter/sink. 2. Print this answer Can I cut to size the PEX supplies on my DST faucet? Delta Faucet Company recommends you leave the existing fitting on the PEX supply tubing and not shorten the tubing. If you determine the PEX supply tubing for this faucet is too long and must be shorter to create an acceptable installation, be sure to read the instructions and plan ahead. When cutting the supply tubing, the installer accepts the responsibility to do so in a way that allows a leak-free joint to be created. Delta is not responsible for tubing that is cut too short or cut in a way that will not allow for a leakfree joint. For custom fit installations, you must use RP50952 sleeves supplied with model and nuts included on supply lines. Tube cut must be straight. See plastic sleeve installation instructions found on RP50952. NOTICE: DO NOT use a metal sleeve, RP51243 gasket (supplied with faucet) or ferrule in the place of the plastic sleeve supplied--it may not create a leak-free joint. Do not use pipe dope or other sealants on water line connections. Instructions: Watch this how-to video for information on how to cut your PEX supply lines to size. 1. Identify desired length of tube (1). Leave 1" - 2" of extra length to allow for easier installation, and cut tube. Ensure cut is straight and burr free. 2. Slide nut (2) and plastic sleeve (3) onto cut tube. Ensure sleeve is oriented as shown. 3. Insert tube into outlet fitting (4). Tube should touch bottom of hole inside fitting. 4. Slide plastic sleeve down tube until it engages top of fitting. NOTICE: Failure to use plastic sleeve in the correct orientation will result in disconnection and possible water damage. 5. Slide nut over plastic sleeve. With wrench, tighten nut 2 turns past finger tight. Do not overtighten.

Pin holes in a Delta faucet spout are usually caused by "dezincification," which is the removal of zinc from the brass due to salt solutions, brackish water, mildly acidic solutions and poorly grounded plumbing systems. When the zinc is removed, the copper is redeposited to these areas and the surface of the part. The redeposited copper is a weak mass that is porous and fragile. Most of the Delta faucets will have the name on the faucet, usually on the escutcheon plate or drain cap. However, it is not uncommon for someone to replace the lavatory faucet without replacing the drain assembly. Some of the older models may not say Delta, but may indicate MASCO on the aerator.
