Determine if you have the proper FOUNDATION FOR SUCCESS. Read page 3 in your First Step Training Manual.

Homework Assignment #2: - Written Goals

Decide exactly what you want then put your goals in writing. Determine your biggest reason WHY. Why are you taking the Healthy Body Challenge? Why are you sharing the 90 For Life message? It has been said that if you have a big enough reason WHY, the WHAT will take care of itself. Your WHY is your motivation. It is the reason you get out of bed every morning. Dig deep within until you find out WHY you really want what you want. Your WHY is where you will find the strength to persevere through every obstacle and challenge. If your WHY is strong enough, you will be unstoppable! Use the Written Goals page in the Appendix of you First Step Training Manual to write down your goals. Four Recommended Goals 1. Get Healthy. (Maximize your health by taking the Healthy Body Challenge.) 2. Get Your Products For Free. See the Refer 3 Yours Is Free page in the Appendix of your FST manual. 3. Homework Assignment #4: - Contact List

Make Your Getting Started Contact List. Use the Memory Jogger in the Appendix in your First Step Training Manual. These are the people you want to begin sharing the message with immediately. We suggest starting with a list of at least 52 names. There is nothing magical about the number 52, but it is used to help create a mental picture. The number 52 represents a deck of 52 cards. With YGY, you can reach upper achievement levels with just three key leaders. So picture yourself with a deck of 52 cards. You know that somewhere in that deck there are four “Aces” , and you need at least 3 Aces to maximize your 1

success. You don’t know where theAces are, but you know they are somewhere in the deck. Imagine turning those cards over systematically one at a time, searching for those Aces until you find them. Go through your list of 52 names using the simple system outlined in your First Step Training Manual, until you find your 3 Aces. (Just remember that there are also a couple of “Jokers” in every deck.) Keep in mind that these 52 names are just your Getting Started contact list. As you continue to use the memory jogger, and learn the art of getting referrals, your list will grow to hundreds and perhaps even thousands of names.

Homework Assignment #6: - Begin Using The Products

Fill out the Dr. Wallach’s 90 Day Health Evaluation Questionnaire to make sure you have selected the appropriate Healthy Body Pak. (This should have already been done prior to enrollment and initial product purchase.) Make sure you have written down your Healthy Body Challenge goal. Listen to the Healing Is Easy CD by Dr. Peter Glidden and Begin Using The Products. Review page in your First Step Training Manual to make sure you are using the products correctly to maximize your results. Go through your home and make a list of various products you are using that you can replace with products from YGY. You are in business for yourself now so begin buying products from your own store. Your monthly product purchase is not an expense it is an investment in your health, your life, your family, and your future. Make sure you have completed the Health Evaluation and reevaluate after 30, 60, and 90 days. Use all 90 Essential Nutrients, for at least 90 days, and you will be amazed at the results!

Your Foundation For Success 5 Master Keys That Will Unleash Your Potential To Succeed Homework Assignment #1: Determine If You Have The Proper FOUNDATION FOR SUCCESS. There are 5 common characteristics of IMDs who experience long-term success with Youngevity. These 5 characteristics are your FOUNDATION FOR SUCCESS. The foundation is the most important part of any structure. The size and strength of a structure is limited by the depth and strength of its foundation. Your success in this business can be no greater than your foundation, so it is important to determine the strength of your foundation before launching out. You can also use this simple checklist from time to time to re-evaluate the strength of your foundation.

1. Strong Desire (Passion) Look for this characteristic above all others. There are no substitutes for strong desire. No matter how much ability or potential people have, and regardless of how successful they have been in the past, they will not experience long-term success in this business without a strong desire. Spend your time working with those who have a strong desire to succeed.

2. Unwavering Belief (Faith) To succeed with any venture you must believe that you can and will succeed. What you believe affects what you think, say, and do. Other people will be influenced by your unwavering belief (or lack thereof) and it will become contagious. You must believe in our products, our company, and that this is YOUR vehicle for success. Use the various tools to feed your beliefs on a consistent basis. Also spend time with people who encourage and motivate you, and stay away from anyone or anything that causes your beliefs to waver.

3. Long-Term Commitment (Loyalty)

Network marketing is a real business. It is not a “get-rich-quick-scheme”. It takes time, effort, and commitment to succeed. New customers and IMDs can actually enroll themselves through your personal web site by clicking “Join Now.” They will be guided through the online enrollment process. DO NOT send prospects to the company web site until they are enrolled. Enroller – Placement The enroller is the person who enrolls a new customer or IMD. Placement refers to where (under whom) the person is placed in your network. If you send people to your personal web site to enroll themselves, you will be the enroller and the new enrollee will be placed directly under you. You will have 60 days to place (move) the new enrollee in your network. How Many CDs Should I Order To Get Started? Again, only you can answer this question, because only you know how soon you want to reach your goals. A good mental picture might be that each CD you lend represents one mile per hour. Until you lend your first CD you aren’t even moving. You are still in neutral and can go nowhere. Lend your first CD and at least you are moving, even if it is only one mile per hour. Lend 10 CDs, now you are moving 10 miles per hour. The minimum initial order should be at least 10 CDs. Other successful distributors recommend a minimum of 20 CDs. When you watch Blake Graham’s training video, Business Basics By Blake, he teaches to LEND the CD rather than give it away. Where Do I Get CDs? The first person you want to check with is the person who introduced you to YGY. Sometimes CDs can be purchased in small quantities from someone in your upline at the time of enrollment. If not, call 1-800-WALLACH (1-800-925-5224) or order online at www.yteamtools.com. You can also have your CDs personalized with you own name and telephone number which creates a more professional image.

How Many CDs Will I Have To Lend To Reach My Goals? There is no exact answer. This will depend on the size of your goals. Realistically, if all you want is to get your products for free, lending a couple of CDs a week will eventually get you there. However, if you are serious about creating a full-time residual income, a realistic goal is to lend at least one CD most days for the first few months. It is very important to have a specific written goal and plan of action regarding how many CDs you will lend each day, each week, and each month. 16

Who Do I Lend The CD To? Start with your 52 Name List. These should be people you know personally, and therefore this is your warm market. These are people who respect and trust you, and will often listen to the CD just because you recommend it.

What Happens When I Run Out of My 52 Names? Your 52 Name List is just a “getting started” list. You know far more than 52 people. Use the Memory Jogger in the Appendix of your FST Manual to continue to build a list of what will probably be hundreds of names. Keep in mind that you will be teaching your business partners this same process. Some of your time will be spent helping each one of them create a list of 52 names, and begin recruiting and training people on their teams. Not all of your time will be spent lending CDs yourself, although you NEVER want to stop lending the CD.

ALWAYS GET REFERRALS! Some of the people you lend the CD to will only want to be a customer. You should still show these people how they can get their Healthy Body Pak free by referring others. Ideally, the customer would purchase a few CDs themselves and distribute them to friends and family. However, some will not take this initiative. It is absolutely essential that you get referrals from these people. Ask them for at least 10 names of friends and relatives that you can lend the CD to. Just ask them to call the people in advance to let them know that you will be contacting them regarding the CD. If you are diligent at getting referrals from ALL of your customers you will NEVER run out of names on your prospect list. Learn to ask this question… “Who else do you know that has made health and longevity a priority? I would like to get them a CD.”

Talk Less Earn More One of the most common mistakes new distributors make is talking too much. When lending the CD, the goal is to arouse curiosity, not satisfy it. The less you say the more effective you will be. Dr. Wallach is the expert so let him do the talking through the CD. Just let them know you have just heard the most incredible message and you are excited for them to hear it too. When they feel your enthusiasm and passion, most people will agree to listen.

How Do I Get People To Listen To The CD? Before lending your first CD, be sure to watch the online video Business Basics By Blake. Go to www.wallachonline.com under the multi media content section. This video will teach you how to lend the CD more effectively. Blake talks about first identifying the prospects need or want, and then gives examples of what to say. Once you have learned how to do that, here are a few additional pointers. 1. Ask if the person has a CD player in their car. Some people assume that this is a disc that has to be viewed via a computer. We live in a busy world, but most people spend a great deal of time in their car each day. Asking this question will help overcome the objection of not having time to listen because it doesn’t require any additional time out of their day. Be sure to tell people that this is a CD they can listen to in their car and encourage them to pop it in and start listening as soon as they get in their car. 2. Get a time commitment. Once you have identified the need/want and used the phrase taught on the video, you will ask the following question. 17

“If I lend you this CD, WILL YOU LISTEN TO IT?” Once they say, “Yes”, you have the right to expect them to listen, and they have given you permission to keep following up until they do. You are not pestering them by being persistent. Simply ask the following question. “Great. When do think you could listen for sure?” Once they give you a time frame, now you have two verbal commitments…first, that they will listen, and second, when they will listen. Now repeat back their commitments like this. If they say, “I should be able to listen by Tuesday.” You say, “Great. So if I call you back Wednesday, you will have listened for sure, right?” At this point, ask for the best phone number and best time to call and end the conversation like this. OK, I will talk to you on Wednesday.” Do not say anything else. 3. Keep Your Appointment Be sure to call back at the agreed upon time. Just remember that people get busy, they misplace the CD, their child or pet destroys it, etc. So if they have not listened by the set time, use the following approach. “That’s OK. When do you think you could listen FOR SURE FOR SURE?” Just keep patiently following this process until they listen to the CD.

What If I Meet Resistance? You will find that the vast majority of people already have an interest in health and longevity, so most people will sincerely appreciate you thinking of them and lending them the CD. However, if by some chance you meet resistance with 3 people in a row, STOP, and call your business coach immediately for help!

Duplication – The Key To Success In Network Marketing You CANNOT Reach Your Destination by Yourself? It is impossible to create a full-time “Residual” Income with Youngevity by yourself. “Residual” income is also called “Passive Income”, because it is INCOME THAT IS GENERATED WITHOUT YOU DOING ANYTHING DIRECTLY TO GENERATE IT. The principle is “WORK ONCE, GET PAID OVER AND OVER AGAIN.” The real power of networking is “Duplication”. Duplication occurs when you recruit and train other people to do exactly what you do. When you find just one other person who is able to reproduce your results, you have then duplicated yourself, and you have then DOUBLED your production and your earning potential. If your goals are small, such as just earning enough to get your products for free each month, you probably can reach that goal by yourself. However, if your goal is to earn a full-time “Residual” income of several thousand dollars per month, you will have to recruit and train a team to help you. It will take duplication to reach your goal. Picture Youngevity as your “Vehicle For Success”. You are driving down the road in the car of your dreams, toward the destination of success that you have chosen. The bigger your goals the longer the journey will be. If your destination is a full-time “Residual” income you will need the help of others to get there. The journey requires more time and energy than any one person can invest. One of the most important reasons for choosing this destination is because it offers you “Time Freedom”. It doesn’t matter how much money you make, if you never have time to enjoy it with family and friends. You want to be able to take a break every once in a while, and sit back and enjoy the ride, but you don’t want to slow down. You certainly don’t want to stop to sleep along the way because there are “Dream Thieves” that will rob you and keep you from reaching your destination. These are negative people who will tell you all the reasons why you can’t succeed. They will try to convince you to stop, turn around, and go back where you came from. Day by day you want to keep moving toward your destination. So what can you do? You must find other people who want to travel with you to the same destination, a land of full-time Passive Income, offering you plenty of money, and plenty of time to enjoy it. You are looking for people to help share the time, energy, and resources necessary to reach the land of success. You then teach them how to operate the vehicle of success, by following the simple system of sharing the message. The Master Key to duplication is getting others to say, “Wow, I can do that.” Anything you say or do that your prospects don’t think they can do will stop the duplication process. If you come across as a salesman, they will think that they have to sell. If you do a lot of talking, they will assume that they have to do the same. If you will simply share the message by using the tools, and take advantage of the webinars, CDs, and other training materials, your prospects can get a vision of their own success and they will begin duplicating. The two primary ways to duplicate is by using tools and events. This is why it is essential to use the tools and follow the system.

We know that the key to huge long-term success in network marketing is duplication...finding others to duplicate your efforts. In YGY it is important to find at least 3 key business partners to achieve rank advancements and maximize the compensation plan. Network marketing resembles fishing. It takes different kinds of bait to catch different kinds of fish. If all you are catching is customers, it's likely that you are only using customer bait. Many YGY distributors make the mistake of not presenting the total YGY package. If you share the 90 For Life message by lending the Best of Dead Doctors Don't Lie CD, without going any further, you will find a lot of customers and help a lot of people get healthier. No doubt, this is a vital part of what we do. However, we have much more to offer.

The Power Of The 3 Way Telephone Call The ABC Method The 3 way telephone call is one of the best ways to take advantage of the ABC Method. The ABC Method works like this. A - The Authority This is the expert (or at least the perceived expert) on the products, business, opportunity, etc. C - The Customer, Client, or Contact This is the prospect who is being introduced to the product and the opportunity. B - The Bridge. This is the person who is introducing C (the prospect) to A (the Authority) to hear more about the product and the opportunity. B's job is to be the Bridge that connects C (the Contact) with A (the Authority). B builds A up in the eyes of C, introduces them, then steps out of the way. The worst thing B can do after introducing C to A is to start talking. Remember the phrase Talk Less Earn More. The truth of the matter is that A doesn't even have to be an expert, but is perceived as a 3rd party expert because B has done such a good job building A up. A simply shares a short personal success testimony then tells C that B is a great team member and would be a great person for C to work with. A tells C what a great opportunity is being offered and encourages C to join and become part of the team. The power of using this 3rd party expert cannot be overemphasized. This works like magic. This ABC method can be used at any point in the recruiting process. (After C hears the Best of Dead Doctors Don't Lie CD, watches the Healthy Body Challenge Video, attends a meeting or a webinar, etc.) The purpose of the ABC Method is to help C make a decision that otherwise might drag on and on until C loses interest. Dealing With Discouragement What Should I Expect? The Parable Of The Seed And The Sower “Listen! Behold, a sower went out to sow. And it happened, as he sowed, that some seed fell by the wayside; and the birds of the air came and devoured it. Some fell on stony ground, where it did not have much earth; and immediately it sprang up because it had no depth of earth. But when the sun was up it was scorched, and because it had no root it withered away. And some seed fell among thorns; and the thorns grew up and choked it, and it yielded no crop. But other seed fell on good ground and yielded a crop that sprang up, increased and produced: some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some a hundred.” (Mark 4:3-8 NKJV) And He said to them, “Do you not understand this parable? How then will you understand all the parables? The sower sows the word. And these are the ones by the wayside where the word is sown. When they hear, Satan comes immediately and takes away the word that was sown in their hearts. These likewise are the ones sown on stony ground who, when they hear the word, immediately receive it with gladness; and they have no root in themselves, and so endure only for a time. Afterward, when tribulation or persecution arises for the word’s sake, immediately they stumble. Now these are the ones sown among thorns; they are the ones who hear the word, and the cares of this world, the deceitfulness of riches, and the desires for other things entering in choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful. But these are the ones sown on good ground, those who hear the word, accept it, and bear fruit: some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some a hundred.” (Mark 4:13-20) As you begin sharing the 90 For Life Message, this Biblical passage portrays a very realistic picture of what you can expect. In this case, the seed we sow is the 90 For Life Message found on the Best of Dead Doctors Don't Lie CD. When people hear the message, they will fall into similar categories as the groups mentioned in the passage above. 1. Waysiders They hear the message, they are open to it, and perhaps they even decide to join. But the truth of the message is immediately stolen from them as they hear or see something that appears to contradict the message they have heard. This usually happens through a well meaning friend or relative who has had a negative past experience with network marketing. This could also occur through a negative web site or another self proclaimed expert. 2. Stoners They not only hear the message but they are excited about it. But they don't last long enough to take root and get anchored. As soon as they run into some adversity they quit. Perhaps they have grand illusions that everyone they shared the CD with would be as excited as they are and immediately join. When they find out that some actually say "No" they can't handle the rejection because they take it personally. Or maybe they are even ridiculed by friends, relatives, or co-workers for daring to dream that they could actually be successful at something like this. Whatever the reason, they get discouraged quickly and therefore only last for a short time. 3. Thorners These people hear the message, believe it, join, and actually appear to take some action. However, distractions come and snuff out their dreams and their desire. Some of these distractions could include other opportunities that look bigger and better, or just the everyday routines of life. These people don't understand that network marketing, like any other business, takes time and effort. They view the opportunity as a lottery ticket and when they don't hit the jackpot overnight, they move on to the latest "greatest" opportunity. They don't understand the value of making a long term commitment to their dreams, their goals, and their daily action plan. 24

4. Fruit Bearers In terms of sowing seed, this group is identified as being "good ground." They hear the message, they accept it, and they commit to it. They allow themselves to be trained and they create and follow a daily action plan until they begin to see results. Notice that not everyone in this group will become a Million Dollar Earner. Even though everyone in this group bears some fruit (experiences some success) the success varies greatly..."some thirtyfold, some sixty, some a hundred." We must learn to applaud any measure of success knowing that not everyone will produce at the same rate or at the same level. There are some very important lessons to be learned from this parable. First, these numbers are probably realistic in most areas of life. Out of the four groups of people, only one group stuck with it long enough to see results, and there were huge variations in the results within this group. Secondly, if we prepare our new distributors for this when they join, they will be far better equipped to deal with the temptation to quit because of discouragement. Third, and most importantly, we can't leave the field and stop sowing seed (sharing the 90 For Life message) to try to move people to a different category. We can't make the Waysiders, the Stoners, or the Thorners become Fruit Bearers! We can't make a thirtyfold or a sixtyfold Fruit Bearer become a hundredfold Fruit Bearer. This is one of the biggest mistakes that many network marketers make. They spend too much time and effort trying to drag others across the finish line...trying to build a fire under someone who really has very little interest, belief, or desire. The most important thing we can do is KEEP SOWING THE SEED (keep sharing the message) and then work with people at whatever level they are at.

4 Types of Prospects Everyone you lend the CD to will fall into one of these 4 groups. Prioritize your time with these groups accordingly. 1. The “A Group”– ABSOLUTELY! a) I love your products, AND I want to build a business! b) Plug these people into First Step Training immediately. c) These are the people you want to spend your time with. 2. The “B Group” – MayBe? a) I’m definitely interested in the products. b) I MAY BE interested in the business opportunity. c) Show them how to refer 3 and get their products for free. d) Show them the benefits of joining the 90 For Life Crusade.

The Importance Of Rank Advancements (Promotions) It is extremely important to do everything we can to advance to the next rank as quickly as possible. There are several reasons for this. Higher Rank – Higher Income Advancing to the next rank is not only a promotion in title, but usually also means a promotion in commissions. A general rule of thumb is that the higher our rank, the higher our income. A Good Example Rank promotions set a good example for our downline to duplicate. When you find a new potential business partner, who really sees the big picture, he or she is likely to ask you what your rank is and how long it took you to reach that rank. If you drag your feet, and it takes a long time, your new prospect may think that it is too difficult for them to achieve and may decide not to even join. Duplication Our downline will duplicate what we do. If we move at a slow pace, they will move slowly. If we are setting timely goals and achieving rank promotions quickly, they are more likely to do the same. Holding Others Back You and I could be the key to, or the hindrance to, our upline leaders receiving their next rank promotion. For example, to reach the rank of Senior Executive Marketing Director (SEMD) we need 3 Regional Marketing Directors (RMDs). To reach the rank of Vice Presidential Marketing Director (VPMD) we need 3 SEMDs. What if we have two of the three we need, and the third person is dragging their feet? Or, worse yet, what if the third person is really close but refuses to spend the few extra dollars on their personal order to promote themselves to the next rank level? We wouldn’t want to be held back because someone in our downline is dragging their feet, so we should show the same consideration to our upline leaders. Let’s promote ourselves as quickly as possible so we can help those above us get their promotions as quickly as possible, which in turn creates excitement and momentum throughout our entire organization. Status And Recognition Rank promotions bring an increase of status and recognition. Everyone wants to be recognized for their efforts and achievements and our rank in the company is one of the most obvious ways of being recognized. Each rank carries with it a certain leadership status and level of recognition. Others will look up to us as leaders based on our rank which gives us more opportunities to be a positive example and role model. Momentum Rank advancements create energy, excitement, and encouragement both upline and downline. When people see others being recognized for their achievements, it creates a desire to reach higher for themselves, and it builds their belief that, “I can do that too!” This leads to tremendous momentum and growth. Poor Thinking Often people look at the extra few dollars necessary (for a personal product purchase) to advance to the next rank as an expense. This “poor thinking” is one of the greatest hindrances to more rapid rank advancements. Some will simply calculate whether spending an extra $50 or $100 would immediately produce an extra $50 or $100 in commissions, not considering the financial return that could be attached to the rank advancement in terms of energy and enthusiasm generated downline. If we can break out of this poor thinking mentality, and start promoting ourselves through the ranks as quickly as possible, we will see our organizations explode with growth and the financial rewards will be far greater than the few dollars we save by trying to make the smallest purchase possible to get a commission check.
