Garuda Indonesia Training Center (GITC) was Established in 1984. It Used to be known as Biro Pusat Pendidikan dan Pelatihan. GITC provides various kind of training programs to support Airline Industry. Known internally in GA organization as Learning and Development Unit, GITC has priority to develop and execute training activities either for air crew or ground staff. By adapting the Corporate University concept, GITC ensures that all of its training programs are highly oriented to meet the airline industry requirement. Each of the training program is designed to develop people competence in the scope of hard & soft skill, business mindset and leadership skill as well. 2

Pilot Training Global aviation industry changes rapidly. Pilot as one of main resources within the industry needs to be developed to also contribute his or her role to win the global dynamic competition. Our Pilot Training Program is developed not only to meet the regulation but also personal skills to address the situation needed. All of our training programs are approved by Directorate General of Civil Aviation. Training curriculum are also complied with all conditions and provisions under CASR 142, 61 and 63. Ensuring it to be aligned with every applicable regulation and best-practice processes, is our main priority.

There are various kind of training programs that we can offer, among other things are ab-initio and recurrent training for pilot type rating, differences and transition training of aircraft types B737-800NG, B737-300/400/500, CRJ1000, A330, A320, and ATR72-600.
