Rehearsal Week This week everyone has been working on the school Christmas production. It has been a fantastic team effort. The pupils have been rehearsing their scenes in the gym and helping staff with costumes, props and scenery. Everyone is very excited! Mr Kent and Mrs Pulham took a break from script writing to say, “We are confident everything will be ready in time for the first performance on Tuesday.”

Jaws & Claws On Tuesday Jaws n Claws visited the school. The pupils were able to see, touch and hold many incredible creatures! Including Millipedes, Giant Cockroaches, Snakes, Tarantula Spider, Bullfrog, Lizards, Tortoise and Snails. Phil from Jaws n Claws explained lots of amazing interesting facts about all of his pets.

1B Boys picked some leeks and made a potato and leek soup last Monday. Great skills boys!
On Tuesday evening Rosie, Alice, Sarah and Sophie coloured velvet paper to look like stained glass.
Work Experience Yesterday Rosie, Sarah & their class had an exciting trip to The Grand Hotel as a part of their college course and work experience. They were shown a video and were given a presentation about the hotel. The class were then taken on a tour and met the hotel staff. They had a fantastic time! Rosie is hoping to do more work experience next year.

Luke Likes Bugs
As part of the week's acƟviƟes pupils had a go at some texƟle work. Reece produced some excellent work, making some wonderful paƩerns.
Luke is really interested in bugs. He went with Darren (Care) to the pet shop and bought some crickets for him and the other boys to look after.
Wardrobe Etc Preparations for the Christmas Play are going well. Students have been helping with building and painting the set. A big thank you to Andrew M who gave up his free time from FE to help Mr King :)
