Approve the appointment of Willis Towers Watson as Broker of Record for insurance, risk management, and loss control services for the Harrisburg School District for a period of five (5) years beginning July 1, 2016 for all policies related to General, Automobile, Fiduciary, Environmental, Property and School Board Liability, as well as Workers Compensation and all risks that will impact the operation of the School District

Weber Murphy Fox, Inc. – appoint Weber Murphy Fox, Inc. to determine the scope of work on the Steele School and coordinate the implementation of renovation as per the proposal of March 8, 2016 at an initial retainer of $7,500. Efforts will be coordinated with the School District, McClure Company and identified contractors to initiate plans to occupy the building based upon a schedule to be determined following initial inspections.

Communities in Schools – approve the partnership agreement with Communities in Schools (CIS) to provide services related to drop-out prevention throughout the 5-12th grade schools at no cost to the district.

SIG Agreement – approve the Mathematics Professional Development Plan agreement for the Camp Curtin Academy with Carnegie Learning as per the attached agreement for 2016-17 in the amount of $152,404.38 paid through Student Improvement Grant Funding.

District Equipment Appraisal – approve a contract Industrial Appraisal of Pittsburgh, PA for the appraisal of equipment throughout the School District as required by our audit procedures at a cost of $19,188.00 for the 2015-16 fiscal year.

Dauphin County Mental Health/Intellectual Disabilities Program – approve the Letter of Agreement with DC MH/ID to cooperate in the development and implementation of the Student Assistance Program services through Keystone Service Systems at no cost to the district.

Franklin Covey Contract – approve a contract with Franklin Covey Client Sales, Inc. to provide in-service training for staff at Downey School as part of the Leader-in-Me program at a cost of $2,700 per day for a one-day workshop.
