Course Description This course is designed to provide understanding of basic concepts of health education in nursing and to nourish the students in the implementation of health education in different health sectors.

Course Objectives Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to: 1.

Understand the basic concepts and principles of health education in nursing

2.

Describe the motivation and learning theories

3.

Discuss assorted learning methods

4.

Explain the factors influencing the learning process

5.

Construct instructional design for a learning activity

6.

Discuss the learning theories from recognized academic research reading/journal articles.

Course Methodology This course will utilize dynamic class activities through the utilization of lectures and reading materials; students’ participation such as reading reports and presentations; and library activities. Students must demonstrate satisfactory achievement of course objectives through fulfillment of course assignments and quizzes, as well as by contributing to class discussions and critiques.

Course Requirement Students are required to sit according to the arrangement and must be prepared for the class when the bell rings according to UNKLAB rules Wear the uniform allowed by faculty of nursing and dressed neatly Use SILENT mode or SWITCH OFF all your electronic devices at all times during the class Punctuality is our value. 3x late = 1 absent Submit the assignments according to the agreement.
