bug menot 1 year ago Much easier: Righttoclick(Firefox), Righttocopy(Chrome) Oh, and if you tried with JS disabled and a site did this still, try disabling CSS styles. Of course, viewing the source is an option. I'm gonna laugh at the OMG, thieves of our illegal fanfics! comments. I'll give you a hint: It's fair use to copy and paste parts, much less just selecting a section, and much more so than publishing an entire story based on someone else's canon/universe. Also, you can name and shame the plagiarists, who will get past this nonsense, anyways. They have the copy their browser downloaded or screen scrapers! The proper solution is to DMCA their entire dishonest blog (you know who I'm talking about) and get their advertising accounts pulled.

choding han 3 years ago I usually use this tip to download in wattpad, but now when I uncheck enable javascript (chrome, firefox,etc) I just can't copy anything on it =.= the browser doesn't display text anymore.
choding han 3 years ago now I'm using add-on AutoCopy on Firefox, it has a little inconvenience because I have to download the web page, open with MS then copy >.<

JAYLEW 3 years ago Well, as a Wattpad writer myself, I frown on plagarism. The only reason I wanted to know how to do this is because I'm so busy working I hardly get time to sit down and read. I use a text to speech software that enables me to paste texts and convert them to mp3s so I can listen to them on the go. I listened to audiobooks to and fro my trips out of state. I love discovering new works and listening to them and I find I have the most time to do so when driving. So yes, it depends on what you use it for

Just search the story u want to download and click download below then Boom! Story downloaded. I dont know where to get that software. Argg

You just gave tons of people the key to plagiarizing someone else's pride and joy. If you don't know how to get access to stories on Wattpad. ASK. Seriously, it's not the difficult. If you have a working computer, tablet, or smartphone, reading Wattpad books is super easy and you shouldn't need to rely on this. There's absolutely no need.

XD They don't even consider the POV that these are our computers, and no, they can not just try to take over the browser just because. It's a misfeature and don't be shocked that users want to get around annoying nonsense. Same mentality that gets mad that viewers have a mute button or fast-forward. Also, illegal and stealing = LULz. IANAL but they sure as hell aren't or they'd not spout off such nonsense.

If you have the wattpad app, everytime you leave a chapter, when you come back it always returns you to the last page and chapter you were on. You can also download the story from wattpad app to read when offline. What is your excuse now? This is straight up plagiarism to put someone's elses work into microsoft word. Its becomes a document you can edit and call your own. That is a disgrace. You have essentially stolen someone elses work, regardless of your purpose for it.

Kahit na sabihin mong may name ng author or what, kung wala namang permission from the rightful author to do so, plagiarism po ito at maari kang makasuhan. Don't you know that? Makukulong ka na nga, magagalit pa sa'yo ang mga fans ng author and the author herself/himself. Please stop this, and delete this video right away. I know Wattpad ambassadors, and you can get sued for this.

John Alexis Cabatuan 4 years ago In the upper right corner of the browser, just click the button for customizing and controlling google chrome and click settings. then find and click content setting in the privacy. and mark do not allow javascript in any site. and your done.
