Human Resources (HR) partners with senior management and Business Groups to advance and support the Bank’s culture of excellence by fostering an engaged and motivated staff. This is achieved through an organizational framework to recruit, develop, compensate, reward and retain the Bank’s employees by designing, communicating and executing effective programs; ensuring compliance with applicable laws; adhering to best practices; and providing timely and accurate information for staff, managers and senior leaders. Specific responsibilities include: Business Partners Works closely with our Business Group leaders, managers and staff to advise and consult on organizational and workforce planning, management and leadership issues, and employee inquiries and concerns. Helps tailor HR solutions to meet specific business needs while maintaining consistency, fairness and a “one Bank” approach across Groups. Provides advice, counsel and solutions within the parameters of the law and Bank policy to address issues that arise between staff members and/or managers related to various workplace issues Talent Management Establishes the strategy and process for attracting, sourcing, interviewing, hiring and on-boarding candidates with the skills, experience and values that match the Bank’s needs. Partners with hiring managers to develop job requirements, interviewing plans, candidate evaluations, and selection processes.
Enables the Bank to get the most from its people by providing processes and systems to assess potential, manage performance and productivity, and gather data to support decisions related to the development and deployment of talent. Supports staff through innovative curricula, programs and tools to improve performance, develop skills and enhance career and professional development for current and future roles. Total Rewards & Health and Wellness Designs and implements local Bank-specific benefits and provides counseling on benefits-related matters, problem resolution and retirement transitions. Supports a comprehensive and competitive array of System-wide benefits to support the health, well-being and financial security of our employees and their families. Designs compensation programs in conjunction with the Bank’s management team and Board of Governors. Provides guidance, consultative services and tools to implement compensation decisions to attract new employees and recognize and reward current staff. Promotes the health and well-being of all staff by managing the Bank’s Health & Wellness Centers, offering programs to prevent illness, manage stress, find work/life balance and prevent injuries while at work. HR Operations and Support Services Manages all HR-related information systems for the Bank and oversees HR business transactions within the Bank’s enterprise resource management system. Creates standard and ad hoc reports to identify emerging trends and develop insights on how human capital drivers impact business outcomes and support well-informed managerial decisions. Provides oversight of the Bank's onboarding process, Tuition Assistance Program, secondment process and contingent worker process. Processes pay for employees and manages the system of record for timekeeping related to pay and leave.
