Approval of Minutes Motion was made by Jeff Carr and seconded by Brian Hunter to approve the board meeting minutes of the September regular session as presented. Vote taken, motion carried 6-‐0 with one member absent. IV. Consent Agenda Motion was made by J.D. Roberts and seconded by Jim Randall to approve the following consent agenda: Pay bills Approve 1st Semester Ridership List Approve SPED Program Evaluation Approve 504 Program Evaluation Employ Classified Personnel Vote taken, motion carried 6-‐0, with one member absent.

Board Program/Recognitions Recognitions: Central Park Elementary students elected 2017-‐2018 President: Adriana Reyes and elected Vice President: Pablo Amador (unable to attend) Program: CoxHealth ACHT – Telemedicine Demonstration and Overview-‐ Year 1 in a 3 Year Grant GO CAPS Profile of a Graduate Program – presented by GO CAPS students VI. Administrative Reports City of Monett Request – Tax Abatement Internet Antennae Progress Celebration of Schools hosted by Southwest Center at MSSU Softball and Soccer Teams (District Champs) MHS Art Project Building Written Reports VII. Old Business A. Update on Facilities and action as needed 1. Review of Capital Projects Plan by Dr. Hanson B. Update on Curriculum presented by Dr. Evans 1. Review of ACT Testing Plan by Dr. Evans and Mr. Williams Motion was made by Jeff Carr and seconded by J. D. Roberts that the district approve the ACT Plan as presented. Vote taken, motion carried 6-‐0 with one member absent. VIII. New Business A. Review of MES Building Improvement Plan by Mrs. Garner B. Review of CPE Building Improvement Plan by Mrs. Wallace C. Review of MMS Building Improvement Plan by Dr. Apostol D. Review of MSBA Policy Revisions E. Review of FY17 District Audit IX. Closed Session -‐ No need for a closed session. (No items for discussion pursuant to Sections 610.021-‐610.022 RSMo) Motion was made by Jeff Carr and seconded by Jim Randall to accept the resignation of Judy Seawel, Speech/Language Pathologist. Vote taken, motion carried 6-‐0, with one member absent. Future Dates: Celebration of Schools – November 14, 2017 Next board meeting – November 16, 2017 Board Retreat – November 30, 2017 Annual Christmas Dinner – December 20, 2017 X.
