Voluntary Contributions and Charges - Marley Atwell’s family received 30 NPS Dollars. Thanks to all our families who paid their Voluntary Contributions in 2014. We look forward to your ongoing support next year. Chaplain We are pleased to advise we have recently been informed that our funding application has been approved for the National School Chaplaincy Programme (NSCP) 2015-2016 . This will allow us to continue to have the services of a Chaplain two days a week in our school to help with the needs of our students and school community. Graduation Year 6 & 7 Reminder to those parents of year 6 and 7 students that your payment for Graduation is required now. This money is used to purchase food, decorations and provide entertainment for your child’s party after the Graduation Ceremony. This is an extra activity funded by parents. To ensure it is a success we require the support of all the families of graduating students.

FROM THE PRINCIPAL’S DESK

On Sunday our school music group performed two songs “Santa Claus is coming to town” and “Rudolph the red nose reindeer” at the Carols by Candlelight in Mackie Park. Before a large crowd, they were part of the entertainment before the turning on of the Christmas lights by the Mayor.

PARENT SURVEY

CANTEEN NEWS

To better serve our school community, it is important for us to continually seek to improve. We have generated 3 online surveys; one for parents, one for staff and one for students. Responses to the questions outlined in these surveys will assist us to make decisions on how we can better serve our school community.

Volunteers are needed for the Canteen. If you are able to spare 4 hours to help in the Canteen and would like to place your name on our Canteen Roster please contact the School on 98811200. Remember canteen volunteers receive 50 NPS passport points for their help .

We will consider the data collected from all three surveys and investigate those areas that are in need of improvement.
