It provides specific requirements for where detectors must be installed, how many per type of space and how often to perform maintenance and testing, where fire doors must be located, and what materials should be used in the building. Employers sucject to the Wrok Safety Act of 1970 must provide personnel and facilities with firstaid in the workplace. Provisions are provided for determining who will provide first-aid, what their job duties will be, what the first-aid space must contain and the protective equipment required. ID2008No.15 Permenakertrans No. Per.04/Men/1980 Syarat-Syarat Pemasangan dan Pemeliharaan Alat Pemadam Api Ringan (Ministry of Manpower and Transmigration Regulation No. Per.04/MEN/1980 on Installation and Maintenance of Portable Fire Extinguishers)" These regulations apply to the use of fire extinguishers. These regulations provide measures regarding extinguisher installations, inspection requirements specific to the type of extinguisher, and criminal provisions for non-compliance. These measures include provisions concerning radiation exposure, vibration limits, and threshold values for radiation and specific chemicals. ID2011No.13 Permenakertrans No.08/MEN/VII/2010 Alat Pelindung Diri (Ministry of Manpower Regulation No. Per.08/MEN/VII/2010 Personal Protective Equipment) The Regulation applies to all employers and requires them to provide personal protective equipment (PPE) for workers in the workplace. It specifies the types of PPE, where and when it should be used, and management of PPE. The Regulation applies to those companies subject to Act No. 1 of 1970 regarding Work Safety. ID1980No.2 Regulation of the Minister of Manpower No. 26 of 2014 Concerning the Application of Assessment of the Safety and Health Management System The Regulation applies to those employers with 100 or more employees, or high levels of potential hazards. It requires them to implement an occupational safety and health management system called SMK3, and perform certain auditing functions. ID2014No.26 SK Diagnosis dan Pelaporan Penyakit Kerja (Decree on Diagnosis and Reporting of Occupational Diseases) These regulations apply to employees and employers. These regulations provide measures regarding the protection of workers from ailments arising from work activities or the work environment. These measures include duties of the Occupational Health Services, national authority, and reporting requirements. ID1985No.04 Undang-Undang No. 13 Tahun 2003 Tentang Ketenagakerjaan (Act No. 13 of 2003 on Employment) The Act provides for protection for people to obtain work without discrimination and covers other areas of employment such as employment information, work training, job placement, foreign labor, and work relationships. It discusses work agreements, wage protection, child and female labor, health and safety, and provides a separate section specifically for industrial relations and labor unions. ID2003No.13 Kepmenakertrans No. KEP.261/MEN/XI/2004 Perusahaan Yang Wajib Melaksanakan Pelatihan Kerja (Ministry of Manpower and Transmigration Regulation No. KEP.261/MEN/XI/2004 on Company Requirements for Training Programs) The Regulation requires companies to provide job training for workers if it employs 100 or more workers. Letters of completion are required for training participants that passed. The Regulation also provides other training information. ID2004No.261 Undang-Undang No. 22 Tahun 2009 Tentang Lalu Lintas (Act No. 22 of 2009 on Road Traffic and Transport) The Act covers the movement of vehicles and the transportation of peoples and goods. It provides planning and implementation requirements for the government, technical requirements for roadworthy vehicles, and requirements related to vehicle size and weight, registration, driver’s licenses, drivers education, and rules of the road. The Act also covers environmental impacts such as noise levels and emissions. ID2009No.22 Undang-Undang No. 23 Tahun 1992 Tentang Kesehatan (Act No. 23 of 1992 on Health) The Act requires persons to participate in maintaining and improving the health of individuals, families and the environment. This law provides measures concerning the workplace environment and provides requirements regarding water quality, indoor air quality, waste management, required lighting, noise limits, and radiation requirements. ID2002No.1405 Undang-Undang No. 3 Tahun 1992 Tentang Jaminan Sosial Tenaga Kerja (Act No. 3 of 1992 Concerning Employees' Social Security) The Act provides labor protection in the form of compensation for workers who can no longer perform their jobs or are diminshed in their capacity to perform jobs as a result of a work accident, illness, pregnancy, maternity, old age, and death.
