Course Objective

The purpose of this course is to provide the students of department of architecture general information about human and culture from social anthropological point of view.

Learning Outcomes and Subordinate Skills

At the end of the this course students … 1.1 will have general information about Cultural Anthropology. 1.2. will have information about basic approaches in Social and Cultural Anthropology. 1.3. will have view on the general content of Cultural Anthropology. 1.4. will have background about the interrelationship between Cultural Anthropology and architecture with other related fields. 1.5. will have experience on research methods of Cultural Anthropology. 1.6. will have skill of questioning and problem solving on individual and soicety. 1.7. will have information about the literature on Cultural Anthropology. 1.8. will improve the ability of analyzing the society and the space they live in. In this course students… 2.1. get general information about the framework of Cultural Anthropology. 2.2. examine and apply the scientific methods in Cultural Anthropology. 2.3. gain skill of observing daily issues from Cultural Anthropology point of view. 2.4. make side reading on architecture and other the related branches with Cultural Anthropology.
