Judge Noli C. Diaz
NOLI C. DIAZ is a quiet, unassuming young judge imbued with a deep sense of moral rectitude in everyday activities, particularly in teaching. He was conferred the degree of Bachelor of Science in Commerce, major in Banking and Finance by the National University in 1975. He obtained his Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Santo Tomas where he continued
to earn additional units in Master of Laws from 1992 to 1993. He is a recipient of the Bible School Diploma of the Catholic Bible Ministry School where he studied from 1985- 1989.
Judge Diaz started his career as a bank lawyer. Thereafter, he worked at the Department of Justice for more than 14 years, holding various positions from Parole Officer to Senior Parole Officer, and finally as the Assistant Chief of the Investigation Division of the Board of Pardons and Parole. In 1995, he was appointed as the Presiding Judge of the Metropolitan Trial Court, Branch 80, Muntinlupa City. His progress and maturity in the field of law have been further enhanced by his attendance in various trainings and seminars in the country and abroad such as the International Law Association Conference and the Stuttgart conference of World Jurist Association.
In recent years, Judge Diaz distinguished himself as author of three important books, i.e. Statutory Construction, The Law on Sales, and Transportation Laws Notes and Cases. These books have been adopted with great success in several colleges in the country.
