The exceptional role of Alexandre Gama in Advertising Agencies in Brazil Alexandre Gama is an advertising and a businessman from Brazil. He is the CEO and founder of Neogama which is rated among the twenty largest advertising agencies in Brazil. Gama was the first Brazilian to be on the front of a global network of communication agencies when he served as the chief executive officer of BBH. He is also the first Brazilian to be part of the Global Creative Board which is made up of six creative and innovative leaders from Publicis Groupe holding company. Gama graduated with advertising and propaganda from Fundacao Armando Alvares Penteado. He started his advertising career in 1982 as Standart Ogilvy agency where he was a writer. He began working as a copywriter at DM9 where he served for four years and was the most awarded Brazilian writer of the time. He passed through other agencies in his career, In AlmapBBDO, he was a partner and a vice president of creation. He was also the president, the CEO, and CCO of Young and Rubicam in 1996. He left Young and Rubicam in 1999 and started his agency, Neogama. In 2008, he was the only Latin American who held a master class at the Cannes film festival in France. Gama became a member of the board of Brazilian association of advertising agencies in 2012.
