Krav Maga, UConn CONTACT
Welcome to UConn Krav Maga! Krav Maga is a student organization in the University of Connecticut Storrs campus. Krav Maga is an Israeli fighting technique that was developed by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and now is used for military and law enforcement purposes around the world. At UConn, we teach and train students to defend themselves in practical senarios. There are no rules in Krav Maga; it is not for competitive purposes but for pure survival and self-defense. Training times: Fridays and Sundays from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM in the Hawley Armory mat room. We hold professional instruction classes under the guidance Alpha Krav Maga on Sundays. Please email us at
[email protected] to get on our emailing list so you can receive updates about classes and cancellations. We also encourage you to join our Facebook group (UConn Krav Maga) for more information. No martial arts experience of any kind is necessary to join, and we welcome new members at any time. Feel free to stop by at any one of our practices to see if Krav Maga is something you'd like to try. Athletic attire and a water bottle are highly recommended.
